I WOKE UP LIKE THIS Purifying S.O.S Spot Gel – Acne Spot Treatment with Natural Salicylic Acid and Glycolic Acid for Oily to Acne Prone Skin – 0.34 fl. Oz

I have not been disappointed by products from I WOKE UP LIKE THIS, but this one is probably my least favorite of them all, but also the one I need the least as well. This is a small little tube with acne treatment that contains salicylic acid. You apply it to the affected area or spot and leave it on for like 15 minutes and then either remove it or you can leave it on overnight, I guess that all depends on how bad it is.The spot gel has an odd scent to it, definitely medicinal but hey that what it is for so I am looking past it. It is pretty thin and lightweight and absorbs very quickly into your skin. Be careful when you squeeze the little squeeze tube since it is so thin and too much will come out if you are not careful. Your skin is surprisingly soft when you have this on there which is nice.As regards to working, I found it actually works quite nicely. I do also use this when I feel reddening coming and know some pimple is about to break out. With this I can actually prevent it to get the worst breakout. I do like this product and it tends to be my go to one when I have any issues. It is also not very expensive so you can't beat that.

It seems to be working without irritation so far. It is lightweight and easy to apply. It seems to reduce redness and the skin feels better overnight.

I appreciate the more natural ingredients in this but truthfully, it just did not work for me. I'd say it slightly dried out a massive zit I had but it certainly did not go away even after multiple applications.Bummer.

Although I mostly use acne patches, I still like to use spot gels and thought this one looked promising. After trying it on several blemishes for over a month, it has done absolutely nothing. Look elsewhere.

This is not a quick-working spot gel but it is gentle & does eventually help clear a pimple. It has a slightly herbal fragrance that goes away after a few minutes. It is clear & is unnoticeable after it dries. It did not irritate my skin or make it flaky & dry.

On the plus side- this is very gentle. Doesn't sting or burn or further irritate my skin.However- I also didn't notice that it did anything for my acne. It didn't lessen redness, it didn't minimize swelling, and it didn't heal my blemishes any faster than if I had done nothing.

This spot gel is helping my teen battle breakouts. It's not a miracle worker but we do see that it helps spots clear up faster than letting them go without treatment. We like that it's all natural and easy to use. The tube is small but it only takes a tiny bit to be effective.
