It is just what I needed to cover blemishes.

Great product

Bought the lightest color available. The color is a tiny bit darker than advertised, but it worked out for what I needed. Used to just get some of the color out of our faces in a natural way for Halloween. Went on smooth with a damp sponge, and with a setting spray, it lasted all night.

There aren't many things to be over the moon about when you're 55 years old (so still relatively young) and afflicted with debilitating rheumatoid arthritis, but I try to find as many happy things as I can. One amazingly wonderful over-the-moon-er is CoverGirl makeup. I'll give you 3 reasons why. 1.) It looks good even though it's been a long time since I've been a "girl." I was surprised how well their formulas work with older skin. In the picture I posted, I'm wearing CG cream foundation in Ivory, a powder blush, black mascara, and one of their long lasting liquid lipsticks (I think it's called Rose Pearl). What I notice is that each product seems to work synergistically with all the others, pulling it al together in a terrific harmony of colors and textures. I don't use a primer and still this cream foundation lays down so beautifully; it never settles unattractively into my crow's feet or other burgeoning creases and lines. It evens out my tone, covers my dark circles, and gives me a smooth canvas on which to add some vibrant color--which is the fun part, of course. 2.) Everything's entirely affordable. I can explore, try things, go crazy with multiple lipsticks and eyeshadow colors, new products, etc., without having to mortgage the house. For instance, I was able to discover that, as a cool-toned person, while I still can't do browns, tans, oranges, rusts, terra cottas, nudes or burgundies--*sigh*--I can do some corals, provided they're based in pink. I just love coral; nice to know I can wear it. 3.) CoverGirl is 100% Bunny Safe and Cruelty Free. Now THAT is something to smile about! No more scouring the net for quality cruelty free makeup in colors I can wear. No more long searches for current verification of Bunny Safe status. Best of all, no more expensive mistakes. CG is now my one-stop shop for all of my makeup. I'm not usually one for rah-rah-ing big corporations, on the contrary, actually. But honestly, I've never felt so good about patronizing *any* company. It was the switch they made to cruelty free that first turned my head, but that's not all CG has to show for itself in recent years, in term of progressive, positive change. They've really become an awake and evolving 21st Century concern. Very impressive.

This is the perfect makeup for my skin texture. Does not dry or oil my skin and I don't have to wear very much of itfor full coverage.

Easy to apply. Nice finish. I bought three different colors. Easy to use for light contours.

The color was a good match, but the foundation itself was not. It cozied into every pore, took up residence and turned on neon signs advertising their presence. Not a good look. On top of that, the finish was chalky. All in all, a big miss.

If you like cream foundation: for the price, this one is really good! Like any cream foundation, if I haven’t prepped my skin well it takes a little more work to blend well. BUT, one thing I really enjoy about this is that if I need more than just a powder touch up, I can layer this over old make up and it blended well for me. I have combination dry skin with an oily T-zone and this lasted well with some powder touch ups. Would recommend for the price!

best colour and consistency I've tried.

It is as described, a literal-creme-to-powder light makeup wit great coverage, not cakey not heavy, just a really beautiful makeup.

This is a nice creamy foundation offering coverage at a great price...strongly recommend..lots of shades to choose from

This product is so handy and easy to us, especially great for travel. Not a strong selling point now, I realize. The number of colours available has greatly decreased, I see, so hopefully your colour is available. Eg., I suit natural ivory, but classic ivory and a blush will do me. Recommend while they last, they seem to be disappearing.
