a bit boring
I would only recommend this book if you are doing a school documentary or just want to learn facts about the Titanic.

Interesting stories for everyone
We bought this as a gift for our son who loves anything Titanic. The stories are short enough to keep his attention and interesting for adults to read as well. We’ve all learned a lot about the Titanic and the personalized stories give it a different feel than just a facts book.

Fascinating and Full of Interesting Facts
Voices of the Titanic is a non-fiction page turner for kids and adults alike! I've always been fascinated with the history of the Titanic, but reading Mary Montero's book taught me tons of facts that I didn't know before. The individual bios, photos, and personal narratives make this a rich, fascinating read. This book spans all classes and walks of life and really broadened my picture of what really happened on that fateful April night.

Interesting book for anyone
I initially purchased this book for my daughter that wanted to learn more about the Titanic. When it arrived I started to read it myself. a few pages in and I was hooked. So many interesting facts and perspectives. This is a must read for children and adults.

Great book
I bought this to teach with in UKS2 and it was great. Really humanises the stories of the passengers. We used a few of the stories to inform recount writing, but many then borrowed the book to kerp reading and my own children also enjoyed the stories.

Such interesting collection of the real life stories. Stuff people won’t have known.
I loved the pictures but wished there could be more. Fascinating to learn of the full extent of the reality of the real lives, after the film highlights. I’m reading another one that’s massive and thick hard backed, from my parents loft when they moved into something smaller. That’s extremely detailed. Classic traditional pages with newspaper prints. I haven’t finished that one yet, I’m just on the section just on all the different icebergs !! Anyhow, there’s no best book since they have different forms and structures etc but also they are what they each meant to be. So thank you for this one too !
