The media could not be loaded.  Really an excellent product.Reviews here said it won't fit in remodeling older bathrooms IT DOES FIT RETROFIT and anywhere you want to install it you just have to maneuver around the joists takes 30 min to install.Noise level is amazingly low compared with the 110cfm suction power it provides, Bluetooth is really easy to pair just turn the vent switch on and scan the Bluetooth on your phone you will find it as "sensonic vent fan", sound quality and volume are really impressive considering only 2 small speakers are hidden inside the vent, it's lacking the bass but hey, what can we expect with such a small speakers the quality is already really nice to take a shower with it wasn't designed for sound pros listening to music in acoustic room with 20k surround system lol its just makes your bathroom time more musical 🎶 so all in all worth every dollar, easy to install (installed in a 60 yo condo without any issue) and sound is really awesome (you can hear it all over 2 bd condo with volume on 3/4 high).Don't hesitate and get it if you want a great inexpensive vent with the very nice extra of the sound feature, if they added a LED light I would have given it 6 stars!

I really like this fan. Installed in a new ceiling, install is a little more tricky than usual due to the exhaust port and mounting brackets extending out past the housing so expect to make a few small drywall fixes when you are done.You can see in the pictures it's pretty minor and can be done with some putty and the grill covers it nicely anyway.Speaker works way better than I expected. Sound is great quality, distorts a tad on max volume, but it has a strong output that easily covers fan noise so I have no use to pump it at max volume. Bluetooth works well and has enough range to walk all over my house.Fan is as quiet as I would expect for a 110 cfm, it's not going to be completely silent, but it's just what I need.Only "con" I have is that the cover grill is a little transparent when your standing underneath and looking in, but I think this is by design so that audio from the speaker doesn't get blocked. Still looks clean from the side.All in all very satisfied with quality.

This is as honest review as i can give about this item. I was intrigued by the combination of a Bluetooth speaker in an exhaust fan. My concerns were how good the speaker sound would be, would the fan motor drown out the music? After receiving it, the first thing I noted was this is not a small unit. The opening for your ceiling will have to be 10 1/2 " x 11 1/2 inches. it is 7 inches high. With the speaker in, it weighs about 10 pounds. With the unit upside down you have to secure the speaker to one side under a bracket. This was a pain as the positioning has to be just right with two machine screws to grip it just right. It took me several attempts to get it right. The wiring is pretty straight forward with plug in connectors that combine the fan and the speaker wires. This is a 2 wire plus ground assembly 14-2 or 12-2 Romex to a wall switch.As for the installation. if you are changing out an old fan you will have to get into your attic and haul the new unit up there. You will not be able to mount it from below. Broan makes this really for a new install project or major renovation where the ceiling is ripped out. But it can be done as a retrofit with some adaptation. There is only a mounting flange on one side of the unit (a dual one would have been helpful) since my install had the flange opposite to where I could use it. I had to purchase the optional hanging bar kit. The bars are adjustable and screw into the sides of the box with spacers. The bars are meant to slip under the joists as they have an "L" shape to them. In an existing ceiling, slipping them between the joist and the drywall may be impossible, it was for me. I put the "L" side in vice and bent it flat, making it a straight piece.It is just sheet metal so this is very easy to accomplish. This made it much easier to hammer the nail into the side of the joist and secure it. You may still need some wood blocks to add extra stability if you feel the need, not that it is going anywhere.The moment of truth, wired up and flipped the switch. The fan is very quiet. They rate it as a 1.0 Sones level (whatever that means, whoever heard of a Sones. I would prefer a decibel dB rating ). I picked up my iPad and went to the Bluetooth settings, sure enough it appeared and connected easily. it sounds reasonably good for a little stereo speaker crammed into a fan. The background fan sound is not loud at all.The grill is the dumbest part of the whole thing. Nobody thought this one through. look at the picture. It is pretty large and Broan insists on stamping their name on it for you to see. Maybe if this was in a public rest room for advertising, but really in my own bathroom? This is not the worst part though. Broan makes the side frame thick on only on 2 sides to cover the edges. The other two sides have only a thin edge and you can see up to the edge of the drywall through it. It exposes very clearly the drywall edges that in most cases is not going to be perfect if it is sitting on top of the drywall. You will have to sand smooth and maybe paint white the drywall edge. You can't be sloppy on these 2 edges. I suppose this was done as the speaker is against the edge of the box inside and a wider frame could impede the sound flow. Still they could have come up with a more elegant grill pattern. It looks bad looking up into it. 2 stars for the grill.The fan must run with the speaker. There is not a separate way to listen to the speaker without the fan being on. That being said you could divide the wires out of the harnesses and wire them separately if you know what you are doing. It is not a recommended alternative from the company. I think on the next version they should have an option to turn the fan on or off while retaining the Bluetooth capabilities.I think the fan is pretty quiet. If the music volume is moderate it should not be noticeable. Some people's ears are more sensitive and may object to any fan sound. It does not bother me.The music sound is reasonably good. I think it does well in a larger master bathroom. I have 16 feet x 12 feet of space and the sound fills the room nicely. I was pleasantly surprised that something that looks pretty small puts out fairly decent sound. If you are expecting audiophile performance you will be disappointed. Then again Bluetooth is not the way to get superb sound anyway. If you want to listen to music in the shower or in the tub without having to set up a music player on your sink or vanity this is a reasonable way to do it. You of course can steam anything you want to listen to. More expensive ways can always be done with speakers in the ceiling or other areas. This combines 2 functions in one unit with better than average results at a reasonable price.

It has good power and CFM’s, you can feel the air move when it is turned on. The bluetooth speaker only works when the exhaust fan is on, so I asked my electrician to wire the speaker directly so it is always on regardless of the fan being on

I installed this fan and used it and the attached speaker almost every day for two years. It can get plenty loud. I typically run it at half volume. Connects to my phone within 5 seconds of turning the fan on. Fan itself is very quiet by itself. Because of that, I didn't rate the "Noise Level". Fan is quiet, speaker can be loud. Both good things.After two years of faithful service, the speakers seemed to go quiet one day. I could still hear them in the shower if I put the volume at max, but it sounded about half as loud as it should be. I took the cover off and both speakers were still vibrating. I assumed it was out of warranty, but sent an email to Broan Nutone customer service anyway. I asked if they had a part number for just the speaker so I could purchase it and replace my weak set or troubleshooting ideas for my current speakers. I attached my serial number and purchase date. Within 24 hours I received their response with an attached shipping number. They sent me a new set of speakers for free! I couldn't believe it. No questions asked, they stood behind their product. Installed them 2 days later when they arrived and everything is back to normal. Great customer service, great product. I love it and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Using it for the last three years without complaint. The sound quality is acceptable. Easy to pair with the phone.

Works great, but now it takes everyone even longer in bath relaxing or kids getting ready. Make sure you have another washroom in the house.

The sound quality is good, it's very pleasant in the bathroom,listening to the news in the morning while getting ready for work.The fan is a bit noisy, but that was expected and, you know, sometimes it'sa good thing ;)Friends, overall, i would buy it again!

The media could not be loaded.  So this fan is a riot 😂Definitely not installing it through existing drywall though, unless you want to repair the drywall.I simply put mine in from the attic space. Cut my existing drywall opening just wide enough to accept the springs for the grill. It simply rests atop of the drywall and I attached the housing to a joist with 4 wood screws. .The wiring is a simple as matching the colours.The sound is about a good as you’d expect,but what a mood lifter having tunes while in the shower.The Bluetooth hooks up immediatelyThe sound of the fan is whisper quiet in my opinion.I can’t hear it at all outside of the bathroom with the door closed or even open for that matter. It definitely does not affect the music or pod cast you might be listening to.I love this thing.Extremely happy with my purchase.
