Something was not right
I'm not quite sure what I could have done differently, I even brought the wife out to the garage to make sure I wasn't missing something. It can only go together one way and just flat out would not line up! The holes were way off, so much so I had to dremel out the hole to be able to put it together. Otherwise it's a great bench!
