I purchased it over and over again to fill the places I go to. So when this one came along, called GO-JR, I jumped to the challenge of not only testing it but also compare it to the "older" speaker.Pros:GO-JR has an incredibly strong volume, similar to regular Aomais. I grade these in terms of clarity of voices. For example, most other Bluetooth speakers I own, which are probably around 9, I could play them in the shower or where there is background noise, and could make some music out of, but could never, and I mean NEVER hear voices, say a podcast, audible, or news. Aomais is literally the only that delivers high-quality high volume sound that I can clearly hear with a loud background, such as a shower. I should add to this that I am hard of hearing, so my bar for clarity is high.So conclusion, they both have what it takes sound quality- and volume-wise.Has a microphone and can handle callsInstructions for use are identical to the regular Aomais, also outlined in the video, in which I also compare both, press 3 seconds, it will turn on, connect to your device, and let it play. you have a pause/play button, as well as - and + buttons that if pressed shortly will pause/play/decrease volume/increase volume respectively, buy if any are pressed over a few seconds, on/off will happen, play/pause button for the regular Aomais but not the GO-JR offers lighting, which I don't really care about,Both have handles and are easy to carry from one place to another,Both are waterproof, splashproof, etc. Just make sure you close the charging/aux port and it's well sealed beforehand.Go-JR touts a V 5 Bluetooth capability that could bolster reception from further places, something I don't think I saw int he regular device specificationConaLGo-JR has 15hr playtime, while the regular version touts 40-hr playtime. Something I don't really care about because none of my listening sessions go beyond 12 hrs a day.If you're into lights, GO-JR doesn't seem to have them, but Aomais regular shouldI personally hate the flashing Bluetooth light when I'm looking at it, but I found a small solution which is to cover that with some electrical tape.I am super excited to have this and use it in my life more and more. There is such a thing, you know, as not enough speakers! Just saying!Highly recommend it!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This Bluetooth speaker is just amazing it's the best Bluetooth speaker I've ever seen for $40 that really blow my mind away. This speakers is extremely loud for its size it also comes with really really nice components like a full-range speaker driver and a tweeter on the top which is unheard of for most speakers at a price point of $40. The speakers is also ipx5 waterproof which is amazing for this price. Are you suggesting for showers and it has survived for all of them I also dropped it in water and it still survived which is crazy. the customer support of this brand is also amazing I contacted them for some few questions and they answered it within 1 hour of me asking it which is amazing. The speaker can last up to three days for me without charging which is crazy and is unheard of for a price point of $40. The build of the speaker's mostly plastic but it helps a really really nice. Acoustics of the speaker it's nice and it comes with two passive radiators one of the front one in the back. I really truthfully enjoy the speaker.

We got this for a ton of reasons, the main one being so we could let the kids hear their music from YouTube without having to play with our phones all the time. This works AMAZING. The sound quality is great and the second we turned it on and connected it to a phone to play some Trolls soundtrack, our 3 year old picked it up and started carrying it around to dance. It is surprisingly lightweight but SO sturdy when she eventually dropped it. I've had other music players where that would have been a death sentence. This guy didn't even notice it. Plus it is waterproof so you could use it in the shower, by the pool, walking the plank, while you throw your enemies in a moat, etc. I see a lot of karaoke parties in our future.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Build quality is pretty solid. Grab handle makes moving it around so much easier. Port cover is nice and thick not to tight it's easy on off but secure. Buttons are ok the connectivity is fast an easy including TWS.The sound quality is ok. It's not a booming speaker. It's clear enough but can get harsh at higher volumes. The bass is a full body punchy bass. Not a booming deep rich bass. There's no speaker phone. There's also a little bit of latency watching videos. Battery charge is average and so is battery life.This version has BT 5.0 vs their other versions like the U-GO which has BT 4.2 but they have LED lights and are fully waterproof and has twice the battery life. Not sure why they came out with version but they do cost a little less. These aren't bad for around $37. 😉👍

First impression: This speaker is built like a TANK. Build quality is very solid, a bit bottom heavy, with everything where it should be. Connecting over bluetooth was a breeze - took only seconds to set up bt, par for the course. Sound is abundantly loud for a relatively small speaker, with better than expected low end - though somewhat muffled at the high end. Still, it provides a nice, room-filling sound from such a small box. Recommended.EDIT 5/12/20: Unit now consistently toggles bluetooth connection off and on, making this speaker almost completely useless. What seemed at first to be a top quality speaker is now something I've come to regret buying. Seek better. Taotronics and Anker speakers have never given me trouble like this one.

I bought this to replace the Go! version of the bluetooth speaker so I could leave the original in my classroom for physics experiments. This Go! Jr is significantly smaller but still plenty loud and has clearer sound quality. I thought the original Go! had good sound, but the Go! Jr is crisper. I haven't tested out the battery life yet, but I am enjoying this purchase so far.
