Ignition Control Module LX-203 DY184 ES-37 for AMC Ford Jeep Lincoln Mercury from Madlife Garage

I did not buy this expecting it to work. I purchased it for it's aluminum case so I can use it to build a Stealth HEI system for my jeep after I couldn't find a used non-working original. I milled out the epoxy to find a case half filled with white sand and a tiny circuit board held in with two screws. There was an NPN Darlington high voltage ignition driver (TO-263 style) soldered to a circuit board and glued to the aluminum. It's amazing to see that the manufacturer adds sand to give the item some "heft", I think it was used as a spacer to pour the 1/4" of epoxy.

Product came damaged. Plug sockets were busted.
