Bought as recommended by redheaded You Tube wire jewelry maker, STUPID ME
These are ackwardly small. Had I gone with my intuition I would have bought full sized replaceable headed nylon pliers as I will the next time. Are these nylon heads? I have never seen nylon that doesn't have a translucent look to it, the color is wrong (solidly beige) and they don't feel like any nylon I have ever used but rubbery. I'm just a beginner but think I will throw these away once I have bought all my high quality expensive tools not all that junk the redhead recommended I buy and quickly returned. Too bad I lost this packaging or these would have gone back too. Damn that Y. W. She was just so sweet and I have become an old fool not the savvy woman I was until a few years ago.

Not for small or fine jewelry
These pliers are no good for handling fine jewelry, they’re big and bulky, the nylon covering doesn’t line up so right out of the package they need to be modified. The very first jump ring I opened with them (which are sterling silver) caused a groove in the nylon covering. You’re much better off just using (tool magic) instead.I don’t recommend unless your working with large jump rings.

Does the job well.
So far so good. I like them, they are sturdy and do the job.. Used them a good number of times and they are just now starting to show some ware in the plastic cushion which is to be expected after so long.. Got these for my wire wrapping students to use during class..but now I find myself grabing them during my use too in favor of my other older ones.. So I might need to order a couple more of these for my own studio too.

Not Very Useful to Me
The whole point of using jeweler’s pliers is so you don’t scratch the jewelry when it is being manipulated. The plastic covering the plier jaws is too slick and does not hold onto items well.

The plastic grips are so-so
The compromise on quality with these pliers is the grip. They have no edge strength, neither gripping properly or maintaining grip, regardless of the strength of the users hands. If you apply too much force they chip. Too cheap to return.

great price perfect for what i needed
i needed 2 for my project, using one to hold and the other to open links (or vice versa).but the nylon or whatever (the white part of the jaws) started nicking/warping immediately after 1 use. for the price, i can hang and may buy more when the time comes, but i wasnt expecting them to warp nick so soon.

They're OK
These were cheap so I have no complaints. But they do not work as well as nylon covered pliers. They just don't slide as well on the wire when smoothing out kinks. But they are inexpensive and you can use them.

Perfect for wire work where you don't want tool marks or blemishes.
At first I thought these pliers looked a little shabby around the soft plastic grip area... but soon realised that was fine. It's all part of their soft grip. They work amazingly well when you're wiring weaving and don't want the wire to mark or blemish. Especially helpful to use when working on wire with a colour plastic coating as the soft grip tips don't rip into the coating like other pliers. Also, don't be put off by "soft grip" as they may seem all squishy, but I can easily work on gauges of wire from 32 to 20 with these pliers with absolute ease. No slip, perfect grip, bend, twist, and loop wire without problem.Seriously, these are life savers. And, coming in a pack of two, I've been able to stash one pair away from my kids, who keep borrowing my pliers for their own art work but rarely giving them back. Good price, good delivery time, makes me one very happy customer.

Handy tools to have
Great idea to sell as a pair. Still at a reasonable price. I use mine for straightening, bent, metal toys. They don't don't leave a mark.
