can be noisy on high, but otherwise discreet and excellent for small spaces
This is one of those air purifiers you can just set up on a shelf and forget about until it's time to change the filter. I'm impressed by its performance compared to its size - I have another brand/model that is twice as big and this almost keeps up the pace with it. It's perfect for large rooms, but I would recommend a larger one for use with the rest of the home. Very basic rig, which makes it highly convenient for me. I have weak respiratory and thus need air purifiers to breathe while I'm asleep, so I can at least testify the air filtering DOES work to eliminate respiratory irritants. I slept like a baby with it in my bedroom!Update: I noticed a scathing review on here which has inspired me to add more detail to my review about this. I have an air quality tester.... I kind of need to. I have BAD respiratory issues from an autoimmune disorder and I can't really breath and get sick a lot if I'm not in a clean air environment. Scariest of all, I'll stop breathing at night. No dust, no dander, no pollen. When I first got this, I tried it out in two rooms that normally take a larger device and both tested well. I have two cats. One of them is a 25lb long hair. I live in a very rural southern area with lots of dust and pollen, too.Now I seriously doubt if you have a very dusty home, especially dry with positively charged air, and/ or if you smoke that you'll see great results with this. I would highly recommend moving up to a larger one. However, given its size, it DOES pack a punch compared to every other compact I've tried in the past.Additionally, most electronics will emit a high EMF while turned on. Certain radio devices - which includes microwaves - will emit this even when they're turned off. Unless you're experiencing symptoms of being exposed to too much of it (like paranoia and psychosis at worst), there's really not much to worry about. Ever noticed how uncomfortable you feel inside a place with old wiring? That's because it puts out too much high EMF for you not to be sensitive to it. Part of ghost hunting is ensuring a location doesn't just sit on top of a grid line or just have old wiring screwing with the EMF levels. Part of troubleshooting poor 4g/wifi/etc in a location is testing the EMF frequencies in that area to see if anything is screwing with the signal. With all due respect, you should try testing your desktop computer, your router/ modem... hey, even just those bundles of electrical cords you have in various spots. If you're still worried about it then God speed to your future life of tinfoil hats. 🤷♀️

This review is my 2 months experience before placing an order for more. Its seriously amazing!
I bought this 2 months ago and was very reserved on if it would help or not. So reserved I only bought 1, knowing I needed more for my homes space and layout. But I had to test it out instead of wasting money. I had some serious doubts but high hopes for anything actually helping.Back story... I have 4 kids, 2 huskys, and 3 cats so I'm sure you can imagine my dust and dander chaos. Me and my son are allergic to dust and our new home seems to attract it. I was dusting and vacuuming twice a week and changing my homes air filter every month (every other if I was lucky) instead of the filters 6-9 month promise. I even had my air ducts cleaned, then I vacuumed out what I could reach everytime I did my floors. I even took my dogs to be groomed instead of doing it myself. Nothing seemed to fully help or even give me a break from a visible layer of dust everywhere. It was draining because no other house we lived in had these issues. It was chaos and I was tired of sneezing, coughing, getting sinus headaches and cleaning more than I have ever had to do in my life!So I picked this purifier to try after a week of reading reviews, comparing prices (for something I wasn't even sure would help), and doing tons of research. Since I go through filters on my heater so much, a big thing for me was the cost of replacement filters for whatever machine I got. Another big thing was with 6 people and 5 pets regularly, plus guests visiting every couple days I didnt want anything bulky taking up space. I also didn't want an eye sore in my livingroom that I felt I needed to tuck away when people came over! This fit all these key points for me!When we first got it my daughter moved it from room to room stirring up dust on surfaces directly around it to see if it was working. It passed her "test" because she asked for one for her bedroom. In the past 2 months I have been able to drop down to doing a mild dusting and vacuuming just once a week again. This blew me away because I only got 1 and its in a 400 sq ft room. So WAY bigger area than rated for but I just wanted a little help and to test it out. The filter on the purifier is holding up great and I fully expect we will reach the 2100 rated hours before needing to change it out, which is fantastic! The filter in my furnace is also still going strong and has lots of life in it (I changed it the day I got the purifier so it could help me judge if the purifier was actually helping clean the air or not). Im optimistic at this point that my furnace filter might actually reach its 6 month rating for the first time EVER!It made a noticeable difference while doing a deep clean of bookshelves and moving furniture that has been sitting in the same place for months (I was working with a serious layer of dust on everything in this tucked away room). I wasn't using it at first and had to leave the room a few times because I was coughing, sneezing and could see the dust swirling everywhere. I honestly didn't think of the purifier at first because I had only had it a week at that point. But after putting it in the room the air was breathable again 10 minutes later and I didn't need to step out anymore. After cleaning, I painted 3/4 of the room before I came to the window and realized I forgot to open it for extra air flow and ventilation. I had no headache, my sinuses were good and my throat didn't feel raw! It was amazing!!!Big surprise for me was my one cat (3 yrs old) has a closed tear duct from damage as a kitten (before we got her) and needs ointment meds put on almost daily to clear lots of eye goop and crusties, keep her eye healthy and prevent infections. Our family rotates who does it by if you see she has goop crusting in the corner of her eye you clean it and put on the meds. Well we had to have a family meeting to double check no one had put on the ointment because her eye has been completely clear for 3 weeks and we all thought someone else had already done it. She's also no longer squinting with that eye on a regular basis. The only "con" I have is as it cleans and pulls in the dust from around the room it gets a ring under it that it didnt suck in. Honestly not very much is left behind compared to what I was dealing with before, so I don't really mind it. But it definitely needs kept on a hard surface so the purifier can breathe and pull air from every direction easily. On carpet or a soft surface I don't see the machine being able to work to its full potential.

Perfect if you have a Cat 😸
I tried this out because I wanted to get rid of the smell of the cat's litterbox. It worked! Also it's pretty quiet and small and doesn't suck up too much power. Since the price was so good and it worked I give it five stars.

OK but not great
It’s impossible to know how much odor is being removed but there is dust in the filter, so I imagine it’s doing some good. Changing the filter, however, is goofy. It’s physically easy to do but it’s virtually impossible to get the darn ‘Replace filter’ light to go off. So that darn things blinks red constantly and of course, I have no idea when I actually need to replace the filter. And they aren’t cheap! I can hear the thing running from the next room if it’s on High, which it always is. Fortunately, the little Swiffer purifier I use in the room where I spend most of my time is quiet, quiet, quiet so as long as this one is in another room, the noise isn’t too annoying. But it IS noisy so unless you want it for loud ‘white noise,’ I definitely wouldn’t buy it to use in your bedroom.
