Wow, what an absolute relief on these hot days and nights.I was originally looking for a cool mat for my cats and whilst reading the reviews, I noticed people using them to sit on and in bed.There are so many on Amazon and some are so expensive and I couldn’t work out what the difference was to justify an expensive price tag. The only obvious reason to pay extra is for large mats.I headed over to Google and did some research. Some cheap & expensive cool mats don’t use gel and use a cool type of fabric. I’m glad I discovered this as some I was looking at were fabric only and I wanted gel as they stay cooler longer. However, if you’ve a puppy who chews everything, you may prefer the fabric only type. They say the gel is non toxic, but I don’t think it would be great for a puppy to ingest it.Overall, there’s no difference to the cheap or expensive ones on the majority of listings from my research. The extra cost is only justify either for a large or extra large or a fancy bed type mat.I was still hesitant when buying these as it’s my first time, but I was extremely impressed when these arrived.They are good quality, with a decent thickness and durable material. It’s comfy to sit on, a good size and they are wipeable.I’ve bought several: one each for my self and son to sit on and extra one each for the bed. I immediately tried one on my sofa, which is leather and it was so refreshing! The line down the middle of these is useful as it sits well on the sofa, half on the seat and half on the back of the sofa. Bottom and lower back was cooled instantly and I was sitting for 45mins and it remained feeling cool. Not as cool as the first 5 mins, but it’s is still cooling. I had been doing some housework and it’s about 26 degrees and they helped me feel much more comfortable.My son is grateful for using it on his PC chair, especially since his bedroom gets very hot.I’ve bought extra for my cats and they are an excellent size for an adult cat. My cats are larger than the average cat and they are perfect. I’ve 2 cats and I’ve bought 4 in total and dotted them around the house in their favourite spots. I’ve yet to see my kitties since these mats arrived earlier today, but I can’t foresee any issues; if I pop a A4 piece of paper on the floor, they will sit on it. If they are unsure, I will sprinkle some cat nip on.Overall, these are excellent value, good quality and a good size for cats, small dogs and even to keep people cool in hot weather.A huge 5 stars from me⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you 🙏🏻

My two cats seem to love this, especially during the recent heat waves. The pads get colder when pressure is applied to them, leaving the cats nice and cool. The polyester/pvc material means that the mats are easy to wipe down if they get dirty, and the seam in the middle means that they can be easily folded up for storage. This is why I am giving this product an overall 5 stars.

Bought 2 for 2 different cats/households. Both arrived dirty with marks and dirt on them and I had to clean them. One cat took to it straight away and the other needed catnip to use it but now seems to be happy with it. It just depends on your pet and how fussy they are. Overall I just cleaned the dirt off and it seems to be cooling the cats down 🙂 Better to have it than not during this weather. If cats don’t take to it, you can use it for yourself

Bought several of these in the heatwave for me, my pets and overheating laptop + router.Amazing value. At this price you can get several and change them out when they warm up. For extra cooling I put them in a sink full of cold water, and dried off before use.This size fit in a pillowcase but are a bit shorter than a pillow.Very comfy under the laptop in hot weather, and laid the router on one too. Saved the day/week.

My cats really enjoyed lying on this when it was hot so it was definitely worth it for them. The only issue is the product was a lot smaller than it looked in the picture, a full grown cat can definitely not stretch out on it like shown in the photo. I feel a more accurate photo that matches the product should be used as even though it states the dimensions in the info it's not always easy to work out that way.

I bougth this for my Sister's cats which are visiting. I will have to apologies to my sister and I'm keeping one for myself. I bought the ones for people and they were GRAP - too small and didn't stayed warm too long.The animal ones are bigger, so if your head is on one side (left) the other side (right) is cool, so it gives you more surface to rest on. I will highly recommend this one.

This arrived today in the middle of the heat wave. I unpacked it and waited for it to cool for 30 minutes before putting it in the fridge in an attempt to cool it down. However the plastic covering will never be cool and the imperviousness of the cover means that the animal's temperature will never be transferred to the gel. In my opinion a total con and please don't waste your money. It's a pity that Amazon allows these companies to sell on their site as such shoddy goods do Amazon's reputation no good.

Great for my guinea pigs who spend a lot of time grazing and in the summer it keeps them so cool, they lay on it. Would recommend putting an old tea towel on it first. Fits in freezer easily and easy wipe clean or spray with the hose.
