Works OK but I will pricey for what it is

Ok, this is supposed to be the be-all end-all of AR chamber cleaning gadgets… aaand it’s not.The packaging is off the chain! Lots of pictures of the tool and no detailed instructions. You figure out how to use it! God forbid you’re a novice.The actual tool is massive and yes all the included parts, the brush and star chamber mop felts will fit in the handle so plus for portability (?) I guess.The hold open widget they included feels cheap but I guess it’ll do it’s thing for a while, mine looked kinda bent but the materials looked good.The star chamber scraper is held on by a hex bolt with a soft plastic tip for unscrewing with your fingers and it has an o-ring to keep it in place. Not sure the mfg would use a plastic that would melt with a gun solvent but I’ll update after I’ve used it for a while. Someone else’s review complained about the plastic tip melting…My final gripe, and this one really annoyed me, how the hell am I supposed to attach the star chamber felt mops?! The bolt at the tip has a much larger diameter than the hole in the felt. It’s like no one bothered to actually use the product after the committee designed it with all the necessary features. Yeah, material quality is excellent and it’s built to last, but they really need to include a specific jag to screw on the felts. Now that’s going to be another purchase I shouldn’t have had to make.Oh, and their big bag of felts aren’t much better than what I saw from other much cheaper sources. Save your money on those.I’d say my biggest gripe is value for the money. I don’t feel that I got my money’s worth. For you rich guys and gals out there that don’t blink at the price, have at it. For those of you who are a little more frugal like me, you better think it over carefully. Personally I think it’s over-priced but it’s not a bad tool. I just think they spent more of their budget on marketing than product testing. Big mistake.

It is a lot better than trying to get into the chamber with a pick. Worked good for me.

This thing is pretty clever. On top of being a very good chamber cleaner, they managed to design a handle that stores all of the bits & pieces so they don't get lost. I had another company's chamber cleaner a few years ago, but the quality was crap. The plastic rod was warped. This one is rock-solid and the rod is made of steel. The kit even includes a little widget that holds my upper open while I use the chamber cleaner. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a clean chamber, which is a B!#ch to clean.

It works very well. This tool would sell for hundreds in boot camp! It dramatically cuts the time it takes to clean the star chamber. It is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. The scraper firmly attaches to the tool and is held in place by a hex shaped inlet on the tool. The scraper stays in place and will not break loose in use. Very happy and will highly recommend it.
