Mr. Pen Architectural Scale Ruler, 12" Plastic Architect Scale

This is the old standby tri scale. It’s accurate and easy to read. I made a mistake and bought a metal one and ended up throwing it out as it was so hard to read.

I bought other architect scales and after a few days the numbers start rubbing off. This tool is well made. I use it every day measuring construction plans. No rub-off of any numbers or lines.

I needed a scale ruler for a theatre class, and this does a great job. All the measurements are accurate, the material is sturdy but not heavy, and you can't beat the price point.

The ruler itself is accurate, but some of the numbers already seem to be wearing away on first use. Nothing has come off completely, but Im worried they will as they are printed rather than etched. I do wish the 'scale' were a little more prominently identified at the beginning--- I find myself double checking which side im using and having to look closely every time I set it down and pick it up again.

Reminded me of the exact same engineering scale I used in high school drafting class only 59 years ago. Arrived as said in great condition. Easy transaction. Would recommend.
