Perfect size and value for your money
I inherited my grandmotherโs wash pan when I was a young bride, but it was never used for anything but food, I.e. canning, food preparation etc. Almost 50 years later it has been banged up from use, moves and just life in general. This is an identical replica of my go to pan for preparing holiday meals when all of our kids โcome homeโ with our grandchildren and their spouses and my house is filled with the sound of family. In the years to come, I will be able to pass it along to a new bride in my family to carry on the tradition. It is of excellent quality and should last another 50 years.

Satisfaction gauranteed, then some.
My original order for two of these pans came in on time, and the price on them was quite good. Upon arrival, I noticed that one of them had been damaged. In a number of placed along the rim, the enamel had broken and ablated off. This did not look like a product defect, but rather a result of poor handling at some point. I submitted for a replacement and contacted the manufacturer/dealer about the issue. Not only did they ship me a brand new one (which by the way is undamaged as expected), but they also gave me a nominal refund, which was unexpected and very much appreciated. I did have to wait a bit longer to have both functional units, but I am giving them 5 stars across the board as their customer service is outsanding (something growing increasingly rare these days) and the quality of their product is superb, and just what I was looking for. Just to compare, my wife dropped one of the units on our wooden floor, and nothing happened, so these are not that fragile. Whatever happened to cause the damage to the first one had to be more significant than just an incidental drop or impact. I certainly would not fault the integrity of the product itself. Being up here in Alaska, it is highly likely something may have happened in shipping that would not normally occur. In any case, I am quite satisfied with my purchase.

Just thought to share..
This is an old-fashioned dishpan. One like your grandma and great-Grandma used to wash dishes in a huge kitchen sink. It is large, sturdy, I use mine for every big bowl job I have in my kitchen. It looks cool on the table at Thanksgiving with a linen cloth draped over it's edges and full of fruit or yeast rolls. However, it does have flaws. The enamel dip, if that's what is coating it, is thin. It had trash in the finish that was baked under the coating. If it chips off there will be a hole to the core. The finish is uneven and the pretty little red line is broken in several places by a rough handler during it's creation. As a consequence, I feel the cost is a bit pricey, by about $20. But I needed a large bowl to make the bread I sell and this is a huge pan. I can make bread start to finish and only need to clean the plastic sheet I roll out on, and this pan. If you ask, "Would you buy it again?" I will look around harder for my second pan, but I will most likely be looking for the same kind of pan.

It's a nice pan. I was looking for something larger
It's a nice pan. I was looking for something larger, but this will do for now. It's pretty lightweight for an enamel pan this size, which makes it easier to handle when it's full. The label inside mentions that it can be used for cooking. Handles are convenient. Wish Amazon was selling more of similar type enamelware. Much of stainless steel that is currently sold online, makes me doubt it's really stainless steel. At least, this is enamel, so should be a safer option.

The description does not do justice to the beauty of this pan
I needed a dish pan. For years I've relied on the plastics. But plastics even the more high quality brands can be stained and will have grease adhere to the rim. Also, I wanted something nostalgic like the one my grandmother used to have. This pan far exceeds my expectation. In a word it is beautiful . The coating is not as thick as I remember on my granny's but it is nice and very high polished. The underlying steel is very sturdy. I've been using mine to wash dishes as well as washing delicates. This is a huge pan. I doubt that it will fit inside of most modern sinks or cabinets. My mother has an older enamel sink and it is much too big for her sink as well. When not in use, I'm currently storing mine atop the refrigerator. However, I plan to have a hook installed, to hang it on the wall. It's that's pretty. I'm really pleased with this purchase. It's functional as well as pleasing to the eyes.

Yes, ours was chipped as well...
... but I still use it for EVERYTHING. I care not a lick about aesthetics. Maybe stuff should arrive damaged more often because it made me feel LESS BAD the first time I dropped it and the enamel sheared off. Mine has now been beat to smithereens by five kids and farm life, after almost 3 years. I am curious why modern enamel seems so weak compared to antique enamel, but considering I didn't have to trade 18 beaver skins for it, I'm willing to put up with the lack of quality. We really do use it for everything. I make giant batches of popcorn, I use it for garden and canning and saucemaking and my 18 pounds of sourdough I make every 2 weeks. I've bathed puppies and children and delicate laundry, washed 10 dozen eggs, mixed up soil amendments- all kinds of things. I'm writing this now because I'm seriously contemplating another one.

Good quality
Yesterday, Nov 20th I received my order. Quick delivery. My first impression is to return it, because itโs so light. When I got the pox, I thought, the wrong item inside. Opened - It is the right one- Granite Ware Dish Pan with Handles, 15-Quart, Speckled White. Well packed in the bubble wrap. Not scratched- perfect, but so light ( as a plastic pan ). When contacted the seller to return it, the seller is being so nice, no problem, send me a return label right away. Today I got the second thought, because this pan is well made, good condition, size is right for my needs, I decided to keep it. Very good product. Recommended this Pan and this Seller to buy from. Thank You

Very large, very practical.
Recently received this bubble wrapped product , in perfect condition. Was stocked directly on amazon with the free shipping. Great quality. ( Little flecks of black on the white porcelain.. which were not visible in the amazon photo. ) Love the 15 quart size *( Interior measures 15 1/2 inches in diameter ) . The handles are very useful. Love the vintage style of this practical pan. Great for the laundry room or kitchen. A nice item to carry laundry down to the washing machine... or to carry starter plants out to the garden. Lots of uses possible . Love it !

Nice and big
Nice and big. I've used it as a dish pan while camping, but also for holding meat while processing, and carrying in produce from the garden. Good looking and practical.

Great quality.
It was difficult to find one of these big enough for my husband to soak his big feet. This one is perfect, if a little expensive. Well worth it though.
