Just as implied, this was simple to install, maybe 20 minutes after cleaning the engine. The old one pops out easy and the new one pops in just as easy and no more oil leak. USE THIS OEM part.

Worked perfectly in my 2004 Honda Civic LX. Was very difficult getting it to go inside the hole. I had to center it perfectly into the hole and make all 4 sides go in evenly by pressing on one of the tabs gently but firm with my finger and then finally it went in. Be careful not to break the tabs off; Take your time making all 4 tabs go in together evenly pressing on one tab to help it go in. I used Permatex 82180 Ultra Black Maximum Oil Resistance RTV Silicone Gasket Maker as people in videos said to do... putting some around the cap that touches the outside of the engine so seal it; Then I let it sit for 24 hours before using the vehicle.

for some reason honda decided to use these plastic caps with o-rings on the top left side of the engine. noticed small puddle of oil when doing spark plug change. quick visit to youtube showed me it was a very easy 5 minute fix. ordered this, went outside and popped the old one off with flathead screwdriver. lubed the new cap o-ring with some oil, and re-installed. saved alot of money, because I didn't have to take it to the dealer or a mechanic. literally, a 5 minute fix. :) oil leak has stopped. still can't figure out why honda would use a plastic cap with a o-ring that will fail in probably just a few years. but, these are cheap enough.

エディックス17Xのヘッドカバー付近のオイル漏れの原因でした。タイミングベルトを交換したばかりで、ヘッドカバーパッキンも一緒に新品交換したのに、EGR付近からかなりオイルが漏れました。原因を調べたところサーキュラープラグのOリングの劣化で、ホンダ車では良くある事象らしい事がわかりました。交換したらオイル漏れは無事に直りました。
