I bought to help fix my Trucks windshield washer fluid system and it did the trick.

You have gotten this far, you saw this and thought “Man, this would be nice to have. It sure would make getting these pesky son of a plastic pieces out.”You are not wrong. It is so easy to remove those retainers now. No more flat heads slipping, no more fighting with needle nose pliers.Just slide underneath and out pops the clips.It was super easy to use, the value you get is well worth it. The handle quality is on the medium side if I were to be honest but I’m not under my hood that often to worry about it. So still gets a fiver from me. For a DIYer, just get it.

These Hood Insulation Retainers Fit perfectly on my 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon.The Retainer Clip tool worked great also.

I found that the clips themselves are definitely not as strong as OEM clips but are a great alternative instead of spending the higher price at the dealership. The tool that it comes with is very very helpful for removing not only the provided clips but became very useful for other clip removals. Be careful as the remover tool is metal and can scratch your paint easily if not careful!!!

While the material does appear to SLIGHTLY lower quality than the OEM part, these clips were a PERFECT fit, and Do a perfectly adequate job of securing the heat shield to the hood of my 2015 Ram 1500 Express Hemi V8. It could also be that when new, these clips are a little softer than the ones I pulled, which had been on and suffering engine heat for 70,000 miles over ten years in the CA sun, which were very brittle and cracked/broke on removal. I am convinced that the heat over time is what cause the breakage/disintegration of the plastic nozzle on my wiper fluid jets, which also cracked and broke apart after years in the Sun.

these little clips hold a liner to the hood of my truck. I had to take it down to repair the wiper fluid lines and the dealership wanted $5 for each clip and I needed 14. needless to say these were cheaper and are working just as good.

The product is pretty straightforward and both the clips and the tool worked perfectly!! Did find a very useful bonus use for the tool... ended up doing a few maintenance things to my vehicle and turns out that pulling the plugs from the spark plug coves is a little difficult but not with this guy! Popped one sides of the tool into the gap and they came off so easy!! Bonus points for versatility!

Tool work great for removing fasteners and fasteners worked perfectly for holding the insulation under the hood of my vehicle.

I needed these to remove and replace the hoodliner of my 2014 Ram 3500. Tool worked fine and the replacement clips were replicas and fitted perfectly.

... but I haven't used it yet. The tabs are a perfect fit and hold well. All in all, exactly as described.
