Brace works the way it suppose too and is of good quality.

I purchased a Large size since I wear a size 13 shoe. The Large is way too big around the ankle and lower leg for me. If they had put more velcro on the sock liner, maybe it still would have worked. As for stability, this product does not provide much, if any stability. Also, when I attempted to return this item for the above reason, I was informed that the produce IS NOT RETURNABLE, eventhough it was sold by Amazon and not a 3rd party seller. So, buyer beware.

The best I have used so far. Over the years I have managed to mangle my left ankle playing racquetball and had to have it fused with only a partial fusion. Found out from another doctor about 40% of these fusions fail. I fell into the 40% group and need additional support. My right ankle is making all kinds of crunching noises and is beyond anything but another fusion and 3 months of no weight bearing while the bones try to fuse. I worry about another failure to fuse and found these ankle braces. They really do provide a decent amount of lateral shift of the ankle joint. This brace along with a good pair of shoes like New Balance 857's and I am in a lot less pain. You can find this on ebay for about $33.

Poorly made after few weeks in ripping in several spots, Velcro on it is not working.
