7012350 2-in-1 Flexible Sprinkler and Soaker Hose, 20-Feet

I have several of these, they are very flexible and work well in flower beds. They tear pretty easily but can be replaced for the price.

I have now ordered two these 20 ft versions since I had to replace a broken unit. One was supposed to replace the bad one that had the exact same issue. The rubber hose comes right off of the brass connector. The connection between the two is not properly done at the factory leading to poorly built product. The first one lasted one day, the second one came apart the minute I turned on the water. In the past had used these and they worked fine, not sure what happened but buyer beware.

the hose separated from the metal coupling piece before i could even use it. cheap junk. super disappointed.UPDATE-- Gatzies sent me a new hose, and so far, it's working great. thanks!

Excellent! I have 20 ft, 30 ft and 100 ft hoss. I used ground cloth anchors to hold them in position spraying vertically all along a 100 ft hose, and on their sides to spray horizontally for the 20 and 30 ft hoses. I usually run each hose for 15 minutes to get good coverage of my three garden plots while I enjoy a cup of two of coffee. Sure beats doing the same job with a hand-held sprinkler and covers everything without a lot of waste. If I have any suggestions it would be to provide a hard cover at the inlet to make it easier to screw on or take off the inlet connector. These are great products that save a lot of time and energy.

The product is as described. Nothing to dislike.

DO NOT BUY. This is yet another waste of time, general pollution in the marketplace of an item that can not perform even most basic function. After opening package I plugged it into hose and turn it on. This product lasted just long enough for me to walk over to inspect the coverage, then it popped and split several inches at the end as shown in image. Do not bother yourself with this thing.

I like these kinds of soakers; this one needs revamping however. Where end meets nozzle it likes toleak, and/or detach. I duct taped it. I would have returned it if I had been able to buy in a store.

The sprinkler spray on this hose is much better than other sprinkler hoses; the holes are closer together so there are fewer dry spots. It is so flexible it can be rolled up and put out again and will lie flat, unlike most hoses that remain bent for a while and won't stay put if they are coiled up. It isn't much trouble to shorten the hose if you want it to fit one spot, plus it works well on slopes. A major down side is that the rubber/plastic is very easily damaged and torn and holes enlarge causing water to gush out at that spot. Wildlife and cats may tear it. The hose also has a tendency to come loose from the end brass fitting even if it is handled with care. it is a real trade off. there is no other hose like it but the quality problems are getting worse.
