3 Minutes of Pure Joy!
3 stars for a good idea... In theory. However, if your pup is as curious as mine this isn't the best choice. It took less than 5 minutes for him to undo the velcro, remove the bottle, chew up the squeeky top and then move to chewing up the bottle itself. I had to fish pieces of plastic out of his mouth. He was playing with the empty toy 'carcass' for a bit; but after about 10 minutes he lost complete interest. So, I put a plastic bottle in an old sock and tied the end in a knot. He loves that! Again, solid idea, works better with a sock.

Doesn’t fit any common Plastic bottles!
I was looking for a toy that holds a plastic bottle as my new puppy loves the sound and it’s much less annoying than a squeak. The original toy by Hartz wasn’t available, whcih in the past has worked great. When this arrived I thought it was cute...a tiny frenchie puppy carrying a bottle of whiskey around quality little man in the making! However the insert it came with was a plastic bottle with a squeaker. Okay, no problem I thought I’ll just replace it with another water bottle. The problem is this isn’t water bottle friendly. Poland spring bottles are super common...it SHOULD be easy to insert. Poland spring bottles are too wide. The bottle they provided is like a 20 oz soda bottle but MUCH narrower - around 3” wide. I had to rip the seams a bit to get the poland spring bottle in. I thought the whole point of toys like this was to be able to replace the bottles as they crunch into them??? This is the worst toy like this I’ve ever had AND the most expensive. It is cute. However, a large dog or any aggressive player would destroy it in seconds. Seems like it’s designed to be a cute gift rather than an actual dog toy.

Goes fast but my dog loves it
My puppy LOVES chewing on the velcro part of the bottle. She also recently figured out that there is a hidden toy (in the name of a plastic bottle) inside her favorite toy, so she always manages to pull it out by the end of the day and I have to keep replacing the bottle with a new one. She chewed on the plastic cap while I wasn't looking and managed to take it apart. I found her chewing guiltily on a bitten-off plastic piece from the cap and quickly took it away from her. Needs supervision when letting your dog play with the toy.My puppy (7 month old golden) really likes to chew on the velcro as stated before, so this toy never gets dry during the day on the flap part. It starts to smell disgusting in a matter of days. My puppy managed to pretty much destroy the first bottle we got beyond repair (it was smelling way too bad and the velcro on the flap was almost gone) so we chucked it out and got her a brand new replacement. It's like love at first sight all over again for our puppy. We'll probably keep buying replacements every month or so as long as our puppy keeps being in love with it, but from this experience I can tell potential dog parents that this isn't exactly the sturdiest or the most durable toy out there. Watch out if your dog manages to figure out that they can pull the bottle out of the toy because they can certainly choke on the plastic once they manage to rip it apart. Supervised play only!

Rosé all day for Lula Mae
My dog is OBSESSED with this thing! When the water bottle that came with the toy became too crushed, I put a new one in very easily- she carries this around all the time. She usually destroys everything but treats this toy pretty delicately. Love this!

A therefor! Plush, crinkly & squeeky?! Yes plz ✔️
Thinking of buying for your dog or as a gift for someone else? definitely do it. It's an absolutely brilliant toy concept and design. It's well made and the fact that it comes with a bottle inside was a surprise as I didn't read that part of the description (I got the medium, I believe). The bottle comes with a special top that squeeks along with the crumpling sound of plastic when squeezed. Mind you, the small doesn't allow for the bottle, and this size works for any small to medium dogs and pups, the large must be for the giant doggos? We've all been there, you spend hundreds on toys, only to find your pet more interested in a plastic bottle, a box, or some other literal piece of trash. The problem with handing over a bottle you've used (besides it not being the best on their teeth or for your ears) is that you have to always ensure that no leftover fluids remain (often not pet friendly diet sodas and other bad for even us humans, energy drinks and the like), and then there's the label wrapping that never wants to come off that they always get in their mouths and never want to drop, and finally the ultimate challenge.... of removing the plastic ring that seals the top, which poses the greatest safety threat of them all. This toy takes out all of the imminent dangers (and ugliness), leaving behind all the fun bottly bits and then some, besides being a funny toy whiskey bottle concept.I have a shiba puppy who is relentless, fearless, bold and has never met nor cares to meet anyone named patience. Rather than me having to desperately rip off a bottle label and try to get the seal ring off without cutting myself, while being yelled at by a tiny, four legged dictator called Empress Matilda, as she's completely losing her mind, I have this toy now! (Sure do it another room, you say, if she knows I'm out of sight and have something she wants, she will do the first most terrible thing she can to furniture or find something dangerous I didn't know was in her play room area- and hold it hostage, negotiations are exhausting).I've had it for about five minutes, so I can't speak to the other facets like a true test of durability, but with decades of dog toy experience and a formerly toy obsessed senior Shiba, I know how long lasting a toy can be with a lack of stuffing and the quality stitching of the design patches is evident (though a lot of dogs favor the shell of a toy once stuffed they won't let go of, this toy sort of skips that destructive step). I am confident it will hold up far longer than her puppy interest in all things seemingly destructive, like biting and tossing trash bottles because she knows they aren't hers, fingers crossed on this being a phase 🤞Now I'm on a mission to ensure I have backups for that simple, albeit, genius squeeky mechanism top that I can place on any bottle of similar, standard (think case of water bottles, but more durable) size.I will say, this is for light to average/moderate chewers (fine for shakers and tossers) in that a dog who destroys anything and everything, will do the same here. The squeeky mechanism top is in tact inside of the toy, and of course is dangerous for those dogs capable and willing to go for it (without thumbs, they must have a lot of determination and time in order to succeed at such a mission). Definitely supervise if there's any question of this possibly happening. While stuffing will eventually come out of any toy my girl meets when the seams come undone from average play, she's less inclined to open up the velcro and purposefully destroy what's inside... more of a "well this hole happened so I will stick my nose inside and play a fun game of keep away while I empty the endless supply of poly stuffing inside." Actually will likely use it for other mind active games like encouraging her to open it to get her treat or her ball, so I'll be purchasing a backup ASAP for this reason. I use the barkbox two in ones for similar purposes.Anyways, 10/10 would recommend.

Great Dane approved.
I recieved the Rose version in my monthly Zippy Paws box, presented it to a 10 year old great dane I watch regularly and immediately got a text that night from his owner telling me it was the greatest thing ever.I promptly went on Amazon and ordered this Whiskey version, a bit more fitting for his personality. He has been forever obsessed with both and just loves the plastic bottle crinkle noise, best of all they hold up to his Dane chewing!Only gripe is the reusable squeaker does not fit most of the bottles we've tried so we just forego the squeak cap since it will quickly pop off if not screwed on tight.

My pup loves these!!
My pup loves these plastic bottle toys. It does lose its squeak after my pup makes holes with his teeth in the plastic of the bottle. It can be changed out with a new empty water bottle and reapplying the squeaker lid. My pup has 3 different ones and loves them all. I would definitely recommend!

Now me and my dog can drink together!
My dog loves this!!! And it’s so good for a laugh. She’s just over 10 lbs so she hasn’t destroyed it and it’s holding up quite well but may not be super durable for big dogs. But for small dogs this is great and I can’t get over how funny it is. Amazing!

Fun
Pup loves it. It’s lots of fun... but difficult replacing water bottle not all bottles fit and squeaker broke.

Basically just garbage
Literally a plastic disposable water bottle inside of a cover - could have just taken it out of the recycling bin.
