In the Breeze4747 — Patriot Duet — Colorful, Unique Wind Spinner for Yards and Gardens, Patriotic Décor

I really want to love this wind spinner. The colors are great (I got the rainbow one), and when it works, it's very striking. It did work great when we first hanged it up. However, we've had to take it down and re-twist it several times already because, somehow, it becomes un-twisted (for lack of a better term) when there's much wind at all. Then, it just flaps in the breeze and doesn't spin at all. I'll keep it anyway because it brightens up the porch, but I wish it worked as well today as it did on day one. (Update: After having to take the spinner down multiple times to twist it back into position, we hung it inside the house from a hook and I sewed the spinner at every junction where the two sections touched one another...in three or four places. Now the spinner stays the way it's supposed to be, at least most of the time. It even got through a severe thunderstorm and accompanying winds without getting messed up. So if anyone else has the same issue with the product that we had, this is one fix that is relatively painless and seems to work well.)

I purchased three different spinner thingys to add to our patriotic yard art. This is the only one that I ended up keeping. Unlike flags, this moves in even the gentlest whisper of a breeze. I have mine hanging from a plant hook (or shepherd's hook) where it looks great and works perfectly. It came with a freely spinning, swivel hook with metal ball bearings, attached. I'm probably going to leave this up after the 4th has passed because I am so pleased with it. Writing the reviews, I just realized that all of my "keepers" came from the same company: In The Breeze!

I actually bought the Rainbow Wow spinner two years ago but didn't put it in the yard until this summer. The spinner has very vibrant colors and was a lot of fun to watch while it worked. Unfortunately, after about four months, I noticed the seam had split by several inches and the wire was exposed by a couple of feet. There wasn't any way to repair it. I had the spinner in a location that receives a lot of breeze, so buyers might want to place it somewhere like a covered porch that receives a fairly gentle breeze. Like I said, it was fun while it lasted.

I loved the look of it and the way it spun...…………..but after just a few days, it twisted (not even a high wind) and just hung there. I brought it inside, straightened it out, and hung it back up only to see it untwist again and just hang. I have had good luck with the wind socks before and even though it looked nice for a few days, it is now un-usable.

Within the first week hung up outside on the porch, the long metal attachments were found on the porch floor. Impossible to replace in the lining of the swirl. Pure poorly made and overpriced. Junk. God bless you.

I got these to put up for Memorial Day and 4th of July. I think they are very expensive but really like them. They are well made and should last several years. I didnt need clips for them as the end has a swivel and a safety pin type clip that I just opened and stuck in our awning.

I replaced an old flag of same style but it seemed thicker & made better. Hope this one lasts as long (3 years). We keep it out all year

This has great color and looks great when it spins around and around. Bought two by mistake but glad I did. Going to use one for a gift

I love the cheerful colours of this wind spinner, and it spins really well whenever the wind picks up. I purchased this at the awesome price of $6.78 from Amazon, so I couldn't be happier with the quality and the amount I paid. (Hint: I had this in my Wish List folder for quite a few months , but wasn't willing to pay the $27 it was priced at when I bookmarked it. I check my Wish List regularly to see if there are any substantial price drops, and then I purchase immediately, and that's exactly what happened with this Rainbow spinner. The next day it shot back up to $25.15.)

This is very pretty, but we live on a lake, and the stronger wind often undid it's formation somehow. We have chosen a more gentler location andand take it down in stronger winds. The grandkids like it.

Love love love well made

This will last a long time. Have it extended from my ceiling heat vent in the basement family room. Very appealing and always spinning!
