Works in combination with other products
We've had this for three days now and we're using it in combination with Pet Remedy products. We have a whole new dog! This photo was taken 3 minutes after some nearby fireworks. She raised her head, looked at us, and then lay back down. Gone is the panting, drooling mess we had before this vest and Pet Remedy. My only issue with it is the velcro. She's terrified of loud noises, so ripping the velcro apart to take it off makes her jumpy. But after three days she's getting used to it (still jumpy, but not as bad).I honestly don't know which is helping her more, this vest or the Pet Remedy products, but together they are working. Couldn't be happier. It's a lot thinner than I thought it would be (I'm not really sure what I was expecting, to be fair), and I've had to mark it down solely on the noise level of the velcro, but I would recommend it to anyone with an anxious dog.

Unsure at first, very happy now
The little coat arrived quickly and the instructions were very clear. The coat itself is nicely made and good quality for the price. At first the dog didn't really understand what was going on (he's never had a coat before) and although he didn't try to take it off, he seemed quite puzzled. I bought it for two reasons; firstly to cover a healing wound (just to stop dirt getting in) and secondly to reassure him when there is thunder and lightning. After a few tries of wearing it, he seemed to start to enjoy wearing it and today when I showed it to him, he wagged his tail and jumped up and down on his front paws. Very happy I persevered!

Improvement with fireworks fear, not 100% fix
Bought size large for my 9 year old chocolate lab and fits perfectly. He’s petrified of fireworks and will shake and pant all night after hearing one firework. I would say I noticed an improvement when wearing the vest, it’s not a 100% fix but he was much more settled and while he was still panting slightly it was not nearly as bad as he usually would be. It’s a thin T-shirt like material so I don’t need to worrying about him being too hot and he also hates any type of clothing being on him but he’s quite happy to have this put on and off

IT WORKS !!
I have a 9-year-old, 8 st wolf-dog cross GSD who is totally terrified of fireworks, I have tried everything over the last 8 years but nothing has worked... I heard about 'thunder jackets ' from a colleague who trains assistance dogs and so I thought that a good Christmas gift would be an anti-anxiety jacket, I got this one, buying the Large, my only possible mistake as it is a tight fit but it does ... just. This New Year, I put it on her early in the evening, 7 pm just after the first banger was heard and I had a calm, happy if a little subdued doggo the entire evening, she got slightly freaked out at the midnight fireworks but took herself to the corner of the room and lay quietly as opposed to sitting on my chest, whimpering and shaking like a leaf. It really does work, I cannot thank the person/s who discovered this and turned it into something that genuinely helps dogs. I hope it gives your dogs the peace its given mine ... brilliant!

Works.
We got this as our dog is scared of high wind, thunder, fireworks,he's a big softie,we tried it on homerun it cost came and I love like a muscle t shirt on a bodybuilder:))but that's how they are whose to be,tried it when we had all that rain and wind it did work to a point he was still a little anxious but not as bad as he usually is so for me it was a hit,he wasn't overheating in it,light breathable material.we shall see when the next incident arises.,

Not for our border collie
Didn't really work for our border collie, but we just never got round to returning it. Which is down to me not the product. We tried it whilst on holiday on the east coast as we knew that our dog Meg is really upset by the RAF jets that fly over. If anything it seemed that wearing the coat made her more anxious . However, it is down to the individual isn't it? Not sure about the quality really it seems quite flimsy and she didn't seem comfortable in it.

Calming blanket
I'm not sure that it actually calmed my dog, as she only has to hear the slightest bang and she is a nervous wreck. Bonfire night had passed, but I put it on her as there would still be one or two left to go off I expect later in the week. She appeared puzzled whilst wearing it, after a couple of hours I took it off and she became stressed. So in a word or two, I'm not sure if it worked or not. I will try it again when there are other things to upset her,.

Keeping chill
Got this for Ollie a lahschonOkay so pros:♦️Easy to use and put on♦️Good material♦️Calms down, though fireworks have been worse this yearCons:♦️Need more velcro or different type of fastening....So put this because he is in-between small/medium when I have this snug there's overlap of the loop velcro so could do with another strip on...
