Some of the photos make the metal look gold rather than silver. I was hoping the gold cast was incorrect and was thrilled that the pin I got was indeed silver with blue stones. The brooch is a good size and appears to be well made although the pin itself feels a bit loose. It is definitely a heavy piece that I'm thinking would go better on a heavier fabric or sweater but it's absolutely lovely and quite unique. Given the price I wasn't expecting much and feel I got a lot more than I expected.
