Best Boots I’ve Had In A Long Time
Bought these boots as a steel/composite toe requirement for a project. This is the second pair of “safety toe” boots I’ve had over the years. This boot is nothing like the first pair. These boots are stylish comfortable and very well made. Unless you knew they were a safety toe boot, you would have no idea. These boots are extremely comfortable. I find myself wearing them all the time, and not just on the job as a project requirement. I was originally looking to purchase them in an 11.5 wide, however they were out of stock so I ordered a straight 11.5. I was happy I did not order them in the 11.5 wide as they were very comfortable and provided plenty of width for my feet. I have read in some of the reviews that they run large and to go a size up. I’m usually between an 11.5 & 12 in shoes. So these boots do run slightly bigger although not a full size IMO. Some reviews stated that they are not waterproof but I’m not sure that is these case. As a general rule, I treat new shoes/boots with a water repellent spray the moment I take them out of the box, and spray them sporadically over time. I looked at many different brands of these boots prior to purchasing them. They are a high quality boot that is both comfortable and stylish. You won’t want to take them off your feet!

Good for the Cost
Took a few weeks to break in but they are comfy now (4 months of ownership). Not too heavy but the toe seems well-constructed. They go well with pretty much any color of pants. My only complaint is that the leather haa started to peel in one spot.

Best work boots!

Fits very nice!
These boots are really nice. Yes, they are a little loose around the ankle area but I normally wear Cole Haan boots like this and I’m use to it. Since it’s a work boot, I do have some thicker socks that will fill in around the ankle but again, it’s not that bad.I purchased a pair of Timberland Pro boots that fits just as good and I was going to return this pair if they didn’t fit right. I’m just going to keep both pair and swap them out when needed. Get these boots, you won’t regret it.

Comfortable from day one
After a couple of hours at work (electrician) these felt like they’d been broken in over a month. Steel toe keeps me in compliance with GC rules and being slip ons means never worrying about laces coming undone.

They just don't fit or feel right.
I've had 3 pairs of these boots and this last 3rd pair just aren't right. The ankle support is way too stiff, it's very uncomfortable, almost as if keen changed materials on us. The toe box is cramped compared to the previous pair, and there's a safety cap over the toes so it's not a matter of breaking in the boots, it'll never stretch or relax enough to fix that. I'm really disappointed in the boots for wet weather. The previous pair didn't let water in like these new ones do. Water came in from the seems of the sole and soaked the side of my foot. Only one foot, leaving me to believe there's a defect between the two. On that note the comfort of the toe box is different between the two, one boot is slightly more tolerable. All in all, terrible boots, and this is my favorite brand and style of boots.

Decent Boot, but not Lasting
I have to buy safety toe boots for my job in manufacturing. I walk on unfinished concrete all day 8-10 hours and I’m a bigger guy. 5’11” 275lbs. I work in a non-climate controlled warehouse/steel annealing facility which means several months in HOT and humid conditions. So it’s not uncommon to buy new boots every 9 months to a year. I have been through multiple brands and styles each with their own pros and cons. I was in a hunt for a boot that was light, breathable, and didn’t further agitate my plantar fasciitis. These have been ok so far, but I doubt I will repurchase. The leather is soft, maybe too soft as it scuffs and scratches fairly easily. The outsole material is “ok”, it cushions ok, and the grip is ok so far, but its “squishy” for lack of a better explanation. It doesn’t feel like a solid base like I would expect from a work boot. It’s more close a feel to a athletic shoe. The mid sole is the foam cushion stuff that you find in sneakers and, while it is good for shock absorption, I find that after a few months of wear they go flat and lose most of the cushioning aspect. The insole of the boot is not awful, but i can tell after the few months I’ve worn them it won’t be long before they need new insoles.I like the fit of the boot. I have fairly wide feet and plantar fasciitis, and In most work boots I feel like my toes and feet are squished inside. These boots fit a little larger due to the wider toe area, which was an adjustment for me but I’m enjoying the wiggle room. And so far my fasciitis has not been agitated. The style of the boot is nice. I like the short shaft and short heel stack. Also easy on and off. They have a look that is a cross between work/fashion which for my job is a bonus, as it looks professional but is still work-able.I have some complaints for the durability of these boots. One, is that the Welt of the boot is plastic. After the first 2-3 days of working in them the welt cracked in a few places around the heel on both boots. Which is kind of a bummer. Two, the general softness of the boot is concerning, it is inevitably going to be the reason I retire these boots early. The leather will likely rip or crack, and the outsole will go “flat”. How long that takes is still to be seen. But I will find out just how quickly that time comes.

Light and confo
They are not havy duty construction boots. But they are sturdy enough to work in demolition areas, while easy to put on and off when coming back home or at the office for a meal or a meeting. More to come at the end of the project, this winter.

Better then blundstones
I just got these so I can’t say how they’ll be for longevity but they look much better in person. The leather is nice. I wore them all day around the house and they’re instantly more comfortable right out of the box then a bluestone. I do wish the insole was better quality like some of the other keen footwear I’ve had. I’ve worn blundstones for 6 years and I’m glad keen has made a similar boot. Way more comfortable. Time will tell how they hold up to life.
