Peppermint leaves? No. It's literally 50% sticks. The picture shown was from 1/2 a cup of the product. Ridiculous; especially for the price. The peppermint smell was extremely mild and smelled more like grass. The leaves were light in color compared to my high quality peppermint tea.

As other reviewers mentioned, there seem to be a lot of stems, as well as dust. the cup of tea i made tasted perhaps like grass, i'm not sure what the taste was. it definitely wasnt any kind of mint that i am familiar with such as spearmint or peppermint. i grow both peppermint and spearmint, and i am familiar with both the fresh smell and the dried smell. it was not a horrible taste, just not mint, and not especially pleasant. the bag is very large. since this product is from india, i wondered if indian mint tastes different, or if other herbs were added to the mint. But there is really no question, it says it is peppermint and it smells and tastes nothing like peppermint.

This product was unusable. I had never bought loose leaf mint before. When I opened it, my first thought was this can't be right. It was full of sticks, smelled more like grass than mint, and when I tried to make a cup of tea, it was awful. I bought another brand from a different seller to see what I would get, because like I said, I had never bought loose leaf mint before. That purchase was perfect confirmation that I never want to buy from this seller or brand again. There was such a contrast between the two products that I am curious as to how this provider has received any positive reviews.

This product came in a HUGE bag. Don’t let others tell you that it’s mostly mostly stems, because it is not! Great! Would definitely buy again although I will probably have this until the expiration date.

Very weak! Mint is usually strong and requires a small amount. However, I had to use a large amount and still very minimum mint taste!

Terrible. No smell. No flavor.
