Torch Lighters Adjustable Butane Jet Flame Portable Refillable Lighters for Camping Cooking BBQs Fireworks[Gas Not Include] (Black)

I was so excited when I got this torch lighter because it was exactly what I was expecting. It was the solution I was searching for. The igniting switch is extremely smooth and not hard on the thumb joint (perfect for folks with arthritis like me). Admittedly it actually was smaller than I was envisioning (about 1/2 the size) but that’s probably my fault, as I’m sure the dimensions are in the listing. The size actually turned out to be perfect though-It fits in my palm-I’d describe it as a just a smidge longer than a standard Bic. Of course there are some applications, like lighting deep candles, that the longer pencil-style torch is a more effective choice-but let’s face it-I truly don’t need a separate torch for each task-so it simply comes down to personal choice, what was most important to me. (I don’t light deep candles often). I was impressed with the included switch that’s designed to keep the unit lit: it actually worked well. Often times in torches of this size and price point that switch is useless straight away. The lighter was also sturdy-did not have a cheap feel. It’s for these reasons that I didn’t give it one star-I cant say it didn’t have some great qualities. My first impression was that I really liked this thing, and I was hoping to love it. But that was short lived. After only 2 months of light use (I use it for the OCCASIONAL craft project) . It simply stopped working. The igniter still worked nice and smooth, the spark still was working (this is what usually fails with these types of torches). But the gas simply wasn’t expelling anymore. No sound at all. Full tank, one second I used it, set it down-picked it up 2 minutes later and poof-just like that- lt gave up. I tried bleeding it to see if there was an air bubble (which can happen). I even tried letting out all of the gas and refilling to make sure there wasn’t any obstruction internally. I was really hoping it was just playing dead. It should be noted that I use 11X refined butane specifically because I’ve found, time and tine again, that good butane prolongs the life of the torch and also keeps it from malfunctioning due to a contaminated tank. So I’m confident that it isn’t the butane. It isn’t operator error and that I’ve tried every troubleshooting method I know of to try to resuscitate my almost beloved lighter. RIP Small Red-we could’ve had a long time together-you succeeded in leading me on at first-but luckily-you became as transparent as your little gas-view window. I’m Very Disappointed.,

I have always loved Che Guevara because he gave so selflessly to people everywhere he went. He knew what they needed most and he traveled throughout South America to bring medicine ,hope ,and healing to people living in abject squalor. Folks who had been abandoned by their government or victimized by it. History calls him a revolutionary which is true. His people were hostages in a climate that demanded revolution and a savior. Che delivered. Poor people in jungle villages without access to medical , healthcare, rarely made it to 40 years of age. Fifty percent children died shy of 5 years . So he decided to become a Doctor and he was the first Medical Doctor these people ever saw going back generations. He heard of a leper colony where the infected we're imprisoned on the island . Leprosy had been curable for 30 years. No one cared enough to bring medicine to the lepers so they could return to loved ones. Che Guevara spent a whole summer amongst the lepers determined to restore their health. He refused to wear gloves and he ate with them ,shook hands, embraced them and they cried. He knew healing has many aspects and people need more than a prescription. He did what he could to make the world better ,safer more charitable than the way he found it. If only he could have had more time.

I've had this lighter since August 2020 and quit using it shortly after. I recently brought it back out to try again and it's just not very good. It runs through butane VERY quickly and obviously having two flames will use a lot of butane, but this uses more than some triple-torch lighters I have so be prepared to refill this thing constantly. If you travel, do not take this without a refill.Overall it's just not very good. The flame is unreliable and I'm not able to bring it any further down than half or it simply won't light. It also requires almost constant adjustment because it burns butane so quickly you may have to adjust the amount of flame between every use. The feature where you can leave it running without holding down the button quit on me the second day of owning it and the switch is truly useless. For the price, you can find much better options than this.

This style of lighters by far are my favorite they're a bit odd and ppl do sometimes give you a look when they ask to use a lighter. I'm not sure what it is they don't feel sturdy or premium in your hand (this black plastic one in particular) but they've out lasted many lighters from the cheapo ones to the ones $20-$30 as long as you follow proper refilling procedure it'll keep going for some time now

I am really enjoying this torch. It's built very well. Sturdy! I use it in my acrylic pour paintings. And I've dropped it numerous times and fires up every time. I tend to put in my torch lighters to the ringer so finding one that's reliable sturdy and compact really appeals to me.

Compared to the honest torch of the same design, this one has stood up to .my daily abuse... The honest dual torch, simply failed. after a few weeks. One of my 2 favorite lighters, and made convenient through amazon prime. Thanks

I've been a loyal Scorch Torch customer for a few years now but after this last one I bought only lasting a month before it became unrefillable and unusable I decided to look at other options and I'm SUPER happy I did! This is the second torch I've bought from the same company different color and I love it 🙂!This torch is well built, the metal body and metal mesh also makes it look really cool. I've refilled this thing 5x now with no issue I use 11x filtered butane.
