Let's Sing Nursery Rhymes With Justin Fletcher [DVD]

When I bought this for my 15-month-old I was expecting a much more interactive DVD whereby little tots can learn the actions to the songs and are really encouraged to sing along, but that isn't really the case. There are a few actions thrown in, but there aren't that many nursery rhymes included and some of those are spoken rather than sung. Don't get me wrong, it's entertaining enough for my daughter, but just not quite I was hoping for. And it's pretty short too - about 40 minutes. I don't know if there's anything better on the market, but I'm definitely going to continue my search as this doesn't live up to expectations.

I bought this for my grandson, 18 months. A teacher friend recommended I get a nursery rhyme dvd for him. I'd never seen or heard of Justin Fletcher and bought this based on the reviews. When I watched it I was initially disappointed with it and thought it would be going in the charity bag, however, grandson loves it, he wants it on ALL the time! I've ended up buying 2 Mr Tumble (also Justin Fletcher) dvd's, just to get a break from continuous nursery rhymes. Would recommend

The nursery Rhymes with Justin, dvd is very good keep little ones entertain, and helps them to learn.

Nothing to dislike, except having it repeated several times gets a bit tedious for the grandparents, but it has been such a hit with our grandchild. Brings the nursery rhymes to life. The 'illustrations' are hardly more than childish daubs from an adult pov, but their simplicity is fine for little ones.

I've read some negative ones on this, but can't see why. My son loves this (he's 2.5 now) even more than the bee bright DVD. He likes all the nursery rhymes - has learnt a few off it - and is always great for keeping him entertained for a while. Justin goes around meeting various characters from the nursery rhymes and they sing them together. Simple but effective.
