Texture and taste were perfect.
We used the bread to duplicate the muffuletta sandwiches we had in New Orleans. The bread was the same and perfect.

Overpriced ,packaging is terrible.
Bread crumbled. Was.old. packaging was terrible, no dry ice rolls not frozen or cold. Looked like they were sitting for a long time. Would nit order ftom direct again.

Gambino's Bread is perfect, but.....
I have made Muffaletta's at home for years, using my own olive salad mix and Gambino's 9" Muffie loaves, but in the past I always ordered straight from the bakery. Now it seems Gambino's has stopped selling directly to consumers and the only way to get their muffie bread, and Po-boy loaves for that matter, is to order through amazon and others. This stinks, and I have resorted to making my own bread.
