Owned this pump for 1.5 years. About 6 months the power went out and the impeller was frozen and not removable so I sent it in for warranty. It was replaced which was great. I was told that I needed to clean the impeller on a more frequent routine. Hooked up the new pump and after the second cleaning i noticed the impeller was starting to bulge. 4 months later the power went out again and wouldn't restart. I soaked it in vinegar and water overnight and managed to get the frozen impeller out. The metal skin was cracked and rusty and was bulged at the bottom. I sent that in for warranty which was replaced. Tonight the power went out again and the impeller was cracked and frozen. I briefly searched for an new impeller for this and it is very difficult to find. I am going back to a MAG24. The original reason for buying this pump was because it offered twice the GPH for the same amperage as the MAG24. I have various models of Mags running 24/7 for years without issues.
