Yuasa NP7-12 12V 7AH Battery (2 Pack)

The stairlift packed up many moons ago, and the repair costs ran in to the hundreds (one quoted over £3000), which for us both well past 60 was a no go. Mrs got to the stage she started sleeping downstairs. We finally decided to have a go ourselves, and after a few hours we finally got the cover off, and there was these 2 batteries, which I tested and both were dead. Ordered these 2 replacement batteries which were the same make and model, and when they came we installed them and the stairlift worked straight away. She now sleeps upstairs in a proper bed again.

I needed to replace the UPS batteries and the Yuasa NP7 is what was required. This supplier came up and had them in stock. I expected brand new as I don’t remember seeing anything in the description saying otherwise. The batteries I received were manufacture dated about 9 months old but both batteries had scuffs on both sides and more on the bottom. These look like take outs. I accepted them as I needed to shut the UPS up (good old APC!). I have no idea how long they will last but hoping for the best. Next time I will check that they are brand new.

Arrived one day early. These are a perfect replacement for my 2 APC Back-UPS CS650 battery backup units. Well packed since they are quite heavy. Fitting very easy. Costs much less than the APC battery.

Happy to see a reasonable manufacturing date on these of 08/12/24 which indicates they’re less than 8 months old. I’ve ordered similar from other premium brands that were 12-16 months old. Voltage Upon Delivery (40°F): 12.86v 13.05v Pre-Charge w/ Noco Genius 1A 13.3v at Rest 13.3v at Rest The charger put out 13.8v, typical for a lead acid battery but only pulled 0.5A for about 20 minutes before the resistance increased to the point the Noco went into float mode. I would prefer to see 13.5v to 13.8v at rest, minimum. I’m sure a “non-smart” charger would increase their voltage but the Noco smart charger shuts off based on the batteries resistance which is what is best for the battery. That said, all batteries are different and right now all of the professional low voltage technicians have gotten away from (other notable brands) and are using YUASA. I will plug these into my Vista 21ip and report back with their performance following my next power outage.

Bought to replace the same batteries bought 5 years ago, so with a lifespan of 5 years in a UPS application, I'd say well worth it , good brand.

I bought two sets to replace 4 batteries in a Cyber Power UPS. Batteries arrived a bit late due to shipment damage to box, USPS must have taped up the box further to allow for delivery. Seller was JMAC supply - box was lacking support for this weight and the good protection for batteries such as these; however I didn't note any damage to the batteries. They were fully charged when they arrived and installed with no issues. UPS is back up and running. Time will tell if these will hold up and lasted as long as the originals which last almost 6 years!
