Very sturdy sheathed cable. The connectors rotate to the position that works best for your particular application. My surround-sound receiver barely fits the miniscule depth of my TV stand/cabinet. Anything at all that sticks too far from the back is a deal-breaker. The sliding glass door would hit the receiver front knobs! So, the 90 degree and rotating features of this EMK fiber optic cable save the day for me, so to speak. The sound is excellent and full. Be sure to get enough length so you're not stressing the connections. I got the 10ft length, with about 3 or 4 feet to spare. This is a reasonably-priced quality cable. I'm totally satisfied.

There is nothing worse than spending 2000 on a TV, 150 on a TV wall mount, 60 on new wires,200 on a new tool for the drywall along with new outlets, 800 on a soundbar etc... only to find out after the installation that the TV wall mount was partially blocking the optical audio port that I so desperately needed for my surround system. After ruining two new audio cables trying to do a work around, I stumbled on this cable by accident. I couldn't believe what I saw. Was it possible that this could be the Holy Grail of optical wires? I had to try. This wire claimed to be a 90 degree angle and built well. But ill put that claim to the test. Trust me. Anyway, the day came and so did my new wire, but my confidence didn't. The cable was extremely well built and solid. You could tell that the designer really cared about it. But none of these things would matter if it didn't fit. So, with the family sitting in a semi-circular pattern ready to watch a blockbuster action movie, I attempted to plug in then of the end of the cable and BAM! It didn't fit. I was embarrassed and upset at the same time. Anyway, as I stood there looking at the 90 degree angle ready to curse, I happened to look at the end of the cable and noticed the square part of the connector wasn't lining up. I said how odd is that? I reached in to grab the square part with my fingers and my jaw dropped to the floor. It moved INDEPENDENTLY! I couldn't believe it. Not only was the cable a 90 degree angle, the square part that plugs into the TV was also independent!!! When I figured that out, there was no stopping me. This cable was absolute perfection and saved me from moving it ever again. This cable is lightning in a bottle and the sound quality is the best thing next to real life you can get.

I needed this cable to connect my soundbar to the TV. Initially I purchased a different cable but returned it as I needed the 90 degree angle to get it hooked up to the soundbar because of the way it was built. Having this angle is the way to go! You can pretty much definitely count on it working in most hookup scenarios. Very easy to hook up. Quality thickness and good length. The signal was great. The only thing that would make this a better cable is if it was a braided cord for more flexibility. Great price for a quality cord. Happy with my purchase!

This cable seems very sturdy and well-built. It has a nice, tough outer jacket. What sets this item apart is the fully rotating ends. Instead of just being at a fixed angle like 90 or 180 degrees, it's free-moving, so you can angle it however you need to. That really made my installation easier as I was reaching down the back of a wall-mounted TV to connect this optical cable. The generous length was also very helpful. I would definitely buy this again for any future installation.

I needed to connect a wall mounted TV to a soundbar and needed a 3 metre long connection, also right angled connector on one end is ideal for asking connection in a restricted space, so all in all fulfilled all my needs.
