We have a winner!
So, I bought these to see if I could entice my pup to each them. I've bought him Yak Chews a couple times before but he'll only carry it around the house and bury it (hide it) until it pops up some time later...but won't eat it. It's cute and all, but I'd really like him to eat them. So I figure I'd give these nuggets a try - and it was a SUCCESS. I now know he'll eat them in the "popped" form and will use these as treats in the future.

Just OK
All 3 dogs liked the treats. Directions say to soak for 5 minutes and microwave for 60-80 seconds. That only worked on some pieces. After another 10 minutes of soaking and a total of 12-15 minutes in the microwave there was success.

Over half the time they don't puff up
We followed the package directions. It didn't puff up. Then we boiled water and tried a new one. It didn't puff either. Then I boiled water and added a new one. As soon as the water started getting cold I dumped it and put in more boiling water. Then let it set over night. After 15 hrs in boiled to cold water it puffed. Basically a waste of money.

WOW who figured this out?!? My dog loves it!
A delivery guy met my little pup and told me about this, said it was yak milk popcorn and how it worked. I ordered a bag and was excited to try it! Very cool! My dog liked it, my son's dog liked it, even his cat tried it! I'm sure big dogs would gobble it up! It's just dried yak milk!

My dogs love these! But read instructions carefully.
You need to soak these in water for 5 minutes in order for them to puff up. My first batch I did not read the instructions carefully and they were hard as a rock. My dogs would not touch them. I then tried again, using the correct instructions and they were great! Puffy and crunchy. All my dogs loved them.

Disappointing
My dog loves cheese, so I wanted to give this product a try. After reading some reviews, I soaked the pieces in warm water for longer than indicated on the package to help soften the cheese. After microwaving, only about half the pieces puffed up. Some pieces were burned as well. The whole room smelled like a funky burnt cheese, and my dog was only moderately interested in them. Next time we'll stick to sharing a string cheese.
