2-Inch Extra Sticky Kinesiology Tape

I got this because I had a gift card. I’ve seen it before but thought it was probably just a gimmick.First off, I can not get a bandage to stick to me. I have even superglued them to my skin and they fall off once I sweat during a workout. These adhered for 5 days. That’s crazy.Second I thought these were working as a placebo on people. I had a strained shoulder from a recent bike crash. I also put them on my feet (see my pic) to see if they’d stay on for a run. When I put the first strip on my shoulder it felt about as effective as putting duct tape on myself. Second strip was the same. Then the third to supposedly support raising to the side. 5 minutes later I was surprised to notice the dull pain I’d felt for about 2 weeks dissipated to almost nothing. It turns out that while it’s no brace, it does wonders for swelling. Also, the stuff does not come off.Excellent product. I’ll be using it a lot in the future.

WHAT IS THIS STUFF? This is like a Band Aid - it's a strip of cotton with elastic and it has adhesive on one side. It's meant to stabilize injuries, reduce swelling, and keep you moving. I swim and surf but never used this product until swimmer's shoulder, tendonopathy, and lower back pain left me unable to remain active. Plain athletic tape has no stretch - you can't move. There are no scientific studies on this kinesio tape, but many people swear by it.WILL THIS HELP WITH MY ______ PAIN? The biggest problem is when people attempt to use this without any guidance from a professional. I didn't consult my doctor, read directions fully, applied it wrong, etc... It'll be most beneficial with medical input on proper use. Unfortunately, the instruction leaflet encourages you to DIY. If you want to know if it's the best choice for your situation and how to really use it then please ask your doctor. It has helped my lower back pain a lot - my LMT applied it during a session.HOW LONG WILL IT STAY ON? After some kick drills in the pool aggravated my tendon, I then taped my foot with standard KT brand tape with excellent results. Experienced with taping my feet (former dancer), I felt confident. The tape stayed on for about 2 days outside the pool, through showers, and was removed without issue. When attempting to tape my shoulder (no experience) with RockTape the result was ripped skin which kept me out of the water. While it was on it didn't come off during 2 hour swim sessions and showering. My shoulder felt good.KT BRAND OR ROCKTAPE? If you want something that wont stay on too long and feel like you can't live with a temporary cast of sorts, then KT is a good option. I didn't try KT in the pool and it was off in a few days on it's own. If you want something on at least 5 days and will be in the water, RockTape H2O is what you want. Even pro surfers use it. There's a difference in adhesiveness and elasticity. KT has their logo is on each strip but the strips are pre-cut. RockTape doesn't have a logo but expects you to cut your own strips and round off your own corners which is a waste of product.TIPS: Poor application resulted in painful pustules on my shoulder, so please get someone to help you put it on and take it off smoothly. Apply it wrong and it comes off faster. Kinesio tape can be found in a smaller size at Bed Bath Beyond with a 20% coupon if you want to try some without paying full price. For full size products, Amazon pricing is competitive.

Son broke his cleats in the first game of a soccer tourney recently. Had to play two more games with new cleats which always causes him problems with blisters. Well, he got blisters alright. Could barely walk. After several no-go attempts at covering the severe blisters, we bought KT Blister Patches and covered them with this tape. It was perfect and he participated in a full practice the very first time.We have also found that if you get the skin oil off with rubbing alcohol prior to putting on the tape, it can last for several days regardless of activity. Wonderful stuff!

I honestly cannot believe how much better it is, and how much longer it last vs KT tape. The adhesive is excellent, and holds up very well, even after showering. KT Tape was lifting on the edges almost immediately, especially when I wore clothing covering it. It would also not stick to my skin, if I tried to adjust it when apply it, and have to use an entire new piece. I was lucky if it last me two or three days. Rock tape not only allows me to lift, and reapply while putting it on, but as it starts to lift after a few days, the whole piece doesn't start to come off! I've been able to get a good four or five days of use, before the ends start to lift at all, and it manages to stay in place long after that. It even continues to hold up after showering. I will absolutely be continuing to use Rock Tape, and not be going back to KT Tape. I cannot believe how wasteful the KT Tape was, considering how many pieces had to be trashed, because while apply, they would not stay, so I would have to use a whole new piece of tape. I'm sooo much happier using this Rock Tape. It works great! I think sweat/moisture was getting trapped in the KT Tape, making it a bit itchy too, if it was able to last for a few days, before needing to he replaced. I was only able to get up to three days out of it, before it would start coming off. I could honestly keep Rock Tape on for a week or more, it's impressive stuff. It's helped greatly with knee pain, and muscle pain in my shoulder from a repetitive motion injury. I'm able to keep moving, and not be in excruciating pain anymore (which is HUGE).

I have tried several types of kinesio tape and none stuck well; the first time I used this I cleaned my skin with alcohol first and the tape stuck for nearly a week!!! I wore it while cycling 20 miles a day for 4 days and in the shower every night. The edges fray a little but it stays in place. so happy I ordered more.

I've been using a different brand of tape. This brand was recommended as being superior to the brand that I had been using. However, this tape was applied yesterday and is already peeling off. I purchased and paid more for the extra sticky so I wouldn't need to change it as often. The other tape used at least lasted three days.

Lasts twice as long as KT on me and did not leave a sticky hard to get off residue on the bottom of my feet like KT. I'm taping for plantar fasciitis relief on my feet.

Was recommended by my private physio and it's excellent. Sticks well, lasts for 4 days and is water resistant

Hält was es verspricht. Ich fixiere damit einen Sensor am Oberarm. Das Tape schneide ich mir zurecht, runde die Ecken ab und klebe es auf. Es hält trotz Sport, Schwimmen, Duschen rund 10 Tage. Ich vertrage den Kleber sehr gut. Bisher keine Hautreaktionen.Sehr gut!

Adhesion is amazing and stays for days. Even the glue when the tape has been removed. Worked wonders for my knee
