OneTouch Delica Plus Lancing Device Pen Each

I bought this to replace my old one. It's simple to use and very compact. However, it's biggest drawback is that it breaks easily. The tabs to hold the cap in place broke after 6 months of use and the spring stopped working recently as well. Even though I took care of it and kept it in it's provided case, it didn't last very long. Luckily, this lancing device is very affordable so it can be replaced again when it inevitably gives out.

I purchased this for someone in the family with diabetes. They prefer the One Touch Delica needles to draw blood yet I couldn’t find a suitable lancing device for those needles. After receiving this one it’s good however, the cap that resides above the needle broke. If it could have been the kind of cap to remove and push back in (if there is such a thing) then it would be no problem.However, in this case it’s the kind where you have to twist it so that it could fit like a puzzle piece, then twist it back to where it matches the position of the lancing device’s body. The person I bought this for just didn’t listen and broke that cap by jamming it in/pulling it out. It can go on the lancing device but it won’t stay on as it’ll fall out.

My previous lancing pen was easier to use, this one I have to remember which end is witch, but it works great as long as you point it the right way. I would buy it again.

I had a tiny piece break on my existing device after more than 2 years. I wanted the same device as a replacement as I have small hands and find this very easy to use. Another brand I tried was very difficult as it was 6 inches long with a push button at the far end, and it used a barrel shaped lancet holder that rotated with the hole off to the side. Impossible to aim!!! With this unit the lancet is centered with your fingers close. Very easy to control! And better yet my order arrived almost a week earlier than originally estimated. I am very happy!

This has a twist top to remove for inserting a lancet. The issue is the two tabs to hold the top in place. They are flimsy and are prone to snapping easily. I just got this one and on day four the tab snapped. It says on the box to either twist to put the top back on or snap in on. I recommend not trying to snap it on.

This pen is just like the one my insurance pays for with a prescription. I needed a new one in a hurry as my other one broke and could not wait for the px process to happen. It was a bit pricey since my insurance would pay for it in full, but sometimes we have to do what we have to do. I am greatful for the Amazon resouce.

The OneTouch Delica Plus lancing system is a substantial improvement over the original OneTouch Delica lancing system.The silicon-coated lancets are noticably less painful and have a better way of capping the used lancet's pointy end.This product, the lancing device remedies irritants I experienced with the older system. Specifically, the old lancing device had problems with removing the used lancets from the device. The new "Plus" device has a positive ejection capability (just push the slide toward the lancet). The ability to set a more finely-defined lancing force is also appreciated.However, my new "Plus" lancing device just partially broke. The bottom retaining plastic "cleat" which retains the cap which goes over the lancet broke off. The device is still usable because the top retaining cleat but removing and, especially, replacing the cap that goes over the lancet is now more difficult.Also, the old style lancing device was considerably less expensive but, as I use the device twice a day, I'm willing to pay more for the improvements noted above

I purchased the Lancing device only, but received a letter from the seller saying they apologize for not having the Lancing Device by itself at the moment, so they sent me the One Touch Ultra 2 full kit, which comes with the Lancing Device AND the Blood Glucose Meter.I was impressed!
