Leather Passport Holder for Men & Women - Genuines Wallet Case for 1 or 2 Passports (Maroon)

Nice little passport holder. Good leather, simple and light, and nice stitching. No complaints and good enough if you keep your passport in a larger bag full of loose stuff where it needs the protection. I was looking instead for a travel passport wallet that hangs around your neck--either for concealing it under a shirt for security or for pocketless situations or where you just want it close and accessible while in the airports and en route, also for security. All the neck wallets I found are too big, too wide, too many pockets, carry way too much. If you've ever had a passport taken and had to get a new one in a foreign embassy, you know why you want your passport extra close and extra difficult to take from you. I noticed the nice design of this lightweight one with it's cutout corner and modified it for neck wallet use.1) Threading a boot lace (~52") through the corner hole and a square knot hidden inside the wallet, makes a soft comfortable lanyard to wear this lightweight thing around your neck. Make sure the wallet hangs facing the right way for easy removal with your dominant hand. Try it and if not, it's easy to re-thread the boot lace from the other side.2) Add an RFID passport sleeve to protect your document from electronic surveillance/info-theft, and also to make your passport slide in and out easily. Helps to trim the corners of the RFID card a bit to fit the wallet.3) Remove the small line of stitches that divide the outer wallet pocket into two credit card pockets. The resulting larger pocket fits a mini-wallet like the one shown here with 6 cards and some bills.Now you have your passport documents, credit cards, money, driver's license and other ID, all together in one secure spot where you can conceal them behind a shirt or at least where you can keep an eye on them and keep them handy.

I purchased this passport holder in both mustard and vintage brown. Both are made from thick, full-grain tanned leather in a matte finish. The stitching is even and professionally finished -- the ends of the nylon edges have been melted to prevent unraveling. I could say without exaggeration that the thickness and quality of leather used in these passport holders is close to that found in classic Coach bags and fine leather goods.Regarding color, the mustard is a traditional light tan, not really a sunflower yellow. It will darken beautifully with age and use. I gave the vintage brown away as a gift, and the recipient loves it.I purchased these to use as moleskin covers after I read an earlier reviewer's suggestion for this purpose. Although the 3.5 x 5.5 moleskin will fit, the moleskin's thickness will prevent complete closure of the unattached flap. Still, it'll work and can accompany a pen with clip.I highly recommend these passport holders and would buy other products by Genuines if they could make them (e.g. messenger bags, crossbody bags, shopping totes and handbags, duffles, organizers and dayplanners) without hesitation.

I like this passport holder! It has quite unique design and looks very stylish! Genuine leather of a very good quality. When you look at it, its seems to be much more expensive than it costs! It was a present for my husband and he was very excited when he got it! I'm glad I made this choice!

It's not RIFD protected (or whatever the acronym is that stands for wallets/pouches that protect your cards from identity theft) but that's the only real con here. The pouch is well made, came shipped on time, and was delivered in a protective drawstring pouch, which was a nice touch. I like that it can hold two passports and has a band with it, because you can keep your passport and ticket together using the band that keeps the flap shut. Makes for a good gift for someone who is hard to shop for and likes to travel.

The owner and founder of the company wrote a personal warm email that I read before opening the package to check that everything was in order, and that nice touch told me that the wallet would have been done with care and love for craftsmanship. I was right. The passport came on time and well protected, containing a nice cloth bag with the wallet inside. The product is beautifully made down to the small details. and the descriptions fall short to do justice to it. If you are looking for a nice passport holder (and yes, it can easily hold two passports without becoming a big package) made of leather and by quality craftsmanship, you might be hesitant as I was because of the low price. You will be paying directly for the maker instead of a marketing/brand machine. The doubts dissipated as soon as I took it out of the cloth bag it came in. Absolutely worth the purchase. I would add that not only I am impressed by the value for the money, I probably would buy a few more as gifts for family and friends. Recommended without hesitations or reservations whatsoever.

I was looking for something a bit different than the usual passport wallet that has been rehashed a thousand times when I came across this one. I really like the look of this case, a little old world-y leather flap with a tie style.I'm not using it for my actual passport, so I don't mind that it doesn't have RFID blocking. If I did want to use for my passport, I would prefer it was RFID blocking lined, but I could also just buy an RFID sleeve for that.The one thing I would change, is how the elastic strap is "attached", or not so much. It is sewn onto a floating tab on the inside. Sometimes that tab gets in the way of inserting your passport. It's not a big issue. Certainly not enough to outweigh the rest.I'd buy it again.Actually, I didn't see that there is an extended version that can also hold bills. Though it seems a bit overly long.
