Car Mudguard Fender Mud Flaps Splash Guards Compatible with VW Tiguan 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024(Not fit a Tiguan R-Line)

Install was really easy, Did have to drill two holes for the screws in the top of the front flaps, rear had all the holes perfectly aligned. Install took not too long and was able to resue some of the factory hardware.

It does not fit a 2022 3-row VW Tiguan at all; screw holes do not line up; you would have to drill holes in both the product and your car to make it work. The product might work if only the screw holes were in the right place.

The mud flaps fit my 2019 Tiguan SEL pretty much perfectly. I kept the manufacturer bolts for the inside the wheel well and used the supplied bolts for the single underneath hole because the manufacturer ones weren't long enough to grip with the extra thickness of the mud flap. I did have to make my own hole in the top location for the front ones but it was through plastic trim so it wasn't too difficult. I used an angled pick and rubber mallet to make a pilot hole because my drill wouldn't fit in the wheel area. Inside the wheel well were T20 torx bolts and underneath were T15. Manufacturer supplied bolts are philips head. For the front, you can turn the wheel to have better access to to bolts and I used a T shaped Torx wrench on the short side. For the rear, it's a tight fit but I have a flex head mini driver set that bends so that made it much easier. I can't speak to the durability yet, but these fit close enough that my OCD is satisfied and I think they look great. Saved about $75 choosing this over OEM. Definitely recommend!

2019 SEL US version.Assessment. Semi-ridgid ABS plastic. Color is a good match. Conformed to the car well, but I don't like the forward facing "hollow" indents that will capture and hold dirt and snow.Rear installation a breeze using T20 (upper) and T15 (underneath) bits. The supplied screws are philips, but I used the ones that came with the car. That might be a mistake as the supplied screws are a bit longer.Disappointed with the front flaps as there is no top hole on the car to receive the top fastening position on the flap. (Limitation with the car, not the flaps) I used on the supplied self tapping screws for a complete installation by attaching the top supplied fastening location. The middle and under fastening holes lined up well. I'm thinking these are fine for rain splash and light off-roading. We'll see how they stand up to the full brunt of a western NY winter.BTW, Instructions are poor and do not use pictures of an actual Tiguan, but are good enough to complete the job. Took about 30 minutes to complete.

I really like the mudflaps. They look great on my car. They were a little tough to install because the holes didn't match up completely with the holes on the tire wells of the car. Had to create new holes to secure the front mudflaps but it wasn't too difficult.

These mud flaps fit great on my 2019 Tiguan S. I used the supplied screws as they were thicker threaded. The rear mudflaps installed using two existing screw holes in wheel well and I removed the plastic T15 screw from the bottom and replaced with the supplied Philips screw. I found it easier to start with the middle screw, top screw and bottom screw. For the front mudflaps I started with the bottom screw as that took more alignment to secure, middle screw and then top screw needed the use of a supplied clip to secure the screw into the existing fender trim as there was not a top screw hole. Otherwise the mudflaps look great at a fraction of the dealer price. Install time was 20 minutes and tools used were a 1/4" ratchet and socket to hold the T25 bit to remove the screws from the wheel well (3" between tire and wheel well), Philips bit to install supplied screws and a T15 bit to remove bottom rear screws. The first thing you notice when opening the package is it smells like the typical lower quality Chinese made plastic and rubber that smell of heavy petroleum. A combination of contact cement, roof tar and road tar during paving.The plastic is very hard unlike most factory units which are much more pliable and flexible. It's also thin. These will likely break if you accidentally go down a curb or anything that will come in contact with it. Another concern is it might damage the body as it is inflexible.As for the fit it's pretty decent from just matching it up with the car. The plastic will likely cause the exterior of the car to stink when the weather gets hot. Will cause the car to smell everywhere you park and in the garage.Will give it a week but I doubt the bad odor will go away. This is not a good value for the price.

These looked like excellent quality but we had to return them as our new vehicle already had them. We were told the opposite and ordered them so they could be installed before leaving the lot.
