Marshall’s Creek Spices Annatto Seed Seasoning, Ground, XL Size, 20 Ounce

A big bottle of anatto us a dream come through for me because it's a staple seasoning in my culture. Tastes correct so I'm happy

I use this as a substitute to food coloring that contain yellow 5 which has been associated with cancer. This brand has very subtle color. Other brands are a bit more vibrant but it worked and I couldn't find this anywhere.

Good quantity for the money.

I ordered annatto, garlic, black pepper and cilantro. The spices/herbs I ordered were fresh and containers are quite large for the cost. I also received my order very quickly.

Makes the food that we have used it in taste just like what we had in Belize!

I'm absolutely disgusted, I purchased this in October and finally went to open it last night. I thought I saw something weird and when I brought it off the shelf for closer inspection it was TEEMING WITH BUGS DEAD AND ALIVE. Thank God the thing was still sealed but this is absolutely disgusting. It looked like an ant farm, so clearly they had been in there for awhile. And again this thing was STILL SEALED. I wanted to vomit.

Upon arrival, I opened the tightly sealed container, shook it, then poured a generous amount of powder into a bowl, then mixed water in it. I waited for bubbles to show, but none came up. This proved there is no sign of life, or no bugs present as reported in previous reviews. I will use it in my cooking!

Only used this product once and never bothered to see if there were bugs in it. When wanting to use it today it was. Very disappointed.

When I received the package the lid had broken and some of the seasoning had spilled into the package.
