Speidel has always been a reliable , quality watch band. It doesn’t disappoint. It is working excellently on the watch my husband wears every day! So glad we found this replacement that fits and performs well.

I’m glad to see the quality has not changed. Have been using Speidel twist-o-flex bands since they were first introduced. Very comfortable, looks good, and fits the watch perfectly. A bit tricky to remove and install since I do not have the unique fork-like changing tool, but an Exacto knife works fine.

The band was purchased for a Series 2 field watch with 18mm lug. The band is 16mm in width with an adjustable lug pin.The quality of the band is very nice. Instructions are included to adjust band length are clearly written with graphics accompanying the Instructions. Adjustments do require patience, a needle nose plier and fine screw driver. A lighted magnifying glass helps tremendously.The reason for the four stars is more about the overall narrow width of the band. When being worn the width is not as noticeable as when the watch is being displayed.The instructions show USA in the photos, band is stamped with China. Overall happy with the band and would recommend.

I've been fixing up a bunch of old watches lately, and replacing the bands on some of them. The "Speidel Twist-o-Flex" was a catchphrase when I was a kid ("Tell him what he's won, Johnnie!") but comparing this new one to the band I'm replacing is an eye-opener. This Speidel is extremely well made, it's very flexible, it is comfortable on my wrist, and I found it simple to replace. The quality of this new Speidel is significantly better than the band (can't read the name on the links) it is replacing. If you like the watch you're putting the band on, a few extra bucks buys a BIG upgrade in quality. And you can quote me on that. :-) --ken

Timeless and perfect.

As a young man, I was always impressed with the Speidel Twist o flex commercials. The mechanics was what intrigued me. When I was 16 my parents gave me a new Timex watch after all the intriguing advertising they did with John Cameron Suasey (sp?) showing all kinds of accidental abuse their watches endured and kept running accurately. The watch they gave me had a standard, boring leather 2 piece band. On the next shopping trip to a brand new enclosed mall, I saw an exhibit of metal bands in a jewelry store window. Long story >short, I bought my first Speidel watch band and I LOVED it. The look, the comfort, the mechanics, everything. This was in the late 60s. I am now 65 and I have NEVER had a watch that I did not replace the original band immediately with a Speidel Twist-o- Flex band.I had been gifted with a digital watch by the president of a huge name in luxury watches as a gift after saving a show of theirs displaying the new watch models for 1975. The watch was a gift after we saved their show from a failure due to a technical issues that was their fault. Two weeks later during a very minor impact in our shop, the watch flew apart in a dozen pieces. That night, I drove to the store and bought another Timex. I removed the Speidel band from the pile of busted watch and placed it on a new Timex. In all these years, I have NEVER broken a Speidel band.

Truth in advertising, I was able to install with a pocket knife. I am thick wristed because of all the baby ducklings I save. This band allows me to wear a watch comfortably.
