Works Great Right Out of the Box
With a few simple clicks from the instruction manual and you are good to scan write out of the box and into an Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. With a few more clicks you could configure the width, number of digits to scan, and beeping. Great scanner.

Works much better than expected!
At less than half the price of a comparable "mainstream" brand scanner, I wasn't expecting too much from this scanner. But it works great! It was very easy to pair with my iPad and I am using this with the Square POS app with no issues. It scans many different types of barcodes accurately including 2D barcodes (like QR codes). It will scan 1D barcodes from a further distance than it will 2D barcodes, but that's just the nature of the scanner, and even with that you still don't have to be super close.A few people have mentioned a slowness or delay in scanning. This is a setting that can be changed! The product manual is filled with control barcodes that change many settings including the "typing" speed which the scanner sends the letters/numbers to the device. The default setting was definitely slower than I would have liked, so I scanned the control barcode that said it would increase the speed, and now it's almost instantaneous it's so fast! Some devices you pair this with may need a slower setting, but I have it set to the fastest one with the iPad and have had no issues with it yet.Definitely save the product manual for these control barcodes!! There are so many settings that you can change or enable/disable, like putting it into a continuous scanning mode so you can set the scanner in the stand and just hold barcodes up to it to read without pressing a button. There's another one you can scan that will show/hide the on-screen keyboard in iOS devices.

Not for me - but worked fine!
Since this reads multiple types of bar codes - and is wireless - the lag& delay between clicking, reading, getting to screen was more than what we needed. We need instant pop up results and to keep moving fast for multiple bar codes in a few seconds. We had to return and get a wired one that only read the one type bar code we use. With that said - this was very easy to set up - easy settings to adjust - very sturdy - charged fast - worked at a far distance behind a wall from terminal and worked just fine. If we didnt need this for a fast paced 'assembly line' type production set up - I would have kept this - but in our environment - a 3-5 second delay over 200 bar code scans adds up very fast and slows down our entire line. It was boxed back up before I could take a video -but, please note that by 'delay' or 'lag' - it is mere seconds... so, if you are not fast paced production line - dont let that scare you off... I am not sure if the delay is caused from it having a 'square' reading area to try to read our whole straight rectangle thin bar code - or if it was from being wireless and transmitting the signal over our warehouse to the terminal- or a combo of both..

Works on Windows out of the box. Careful, this has a laser despite the product description
This does exactly what you want it to do. It is completely plug and play with no setup required on Windows 10, despite their official website about this model claiming you have to do some firmware update to make it work. There is in fact a laser on this scanner despite the product description suggesting otherwise, so if you really want to avoid ones that can hit your eyes, don't get this one, but I personally didn't mind enough to find a different model.

Not worth cost - randomly died
Pricey for what it is - was neat when it worked but mine randomly stopped doing anything one day. No noises or lights or sounds when pulling trigger. No Response. Tried charging, nothing. Left it fully discharge, nothing. Just seems to have stopped working. Support wasn’t really helpful in offering a solution or replacement. So when it dies — throw it out. Garbage. Buyer beware you buy this as is with no warranty.

Works perfect!
The barcodes I need to scan are covered by shinny tape and colored tape and this scanner still gets most of the barcodes read.
