Could u use it as a sump pump catch basin

I would not, there is not enough room for a sump pump and a one way valve. I used two of these catch basins with a 22 gal sump basin. Works great.

Is there a knockout on the side allowing for a 90 degree turn?

It's been several years since I installed two of these basins. On one of the basins, I did need to make a 90 turn, but I did not make the turn at the box but after the box with the drainage pipe. I did not have to drill any holes though I did need the large twist-in fittings for the drainage pipes to attach to the front and the back. I'm not sure whether there are pop out blanks on the sides.

There is only one photo, showing only one outlet, does this accommodate two lines, one on each side? A few more photos would really help.

Yes, it can accommodate 2 lines. I actually only have 1 line out, and purchased a cap to cover the other outlet.
