Disappointed and loyal Britax lover.
Like other reviewers stated, our car seat is not the color shown. It has more of a purple hue than gray.Also, it took weeks to arrive, even though we ordered 2-day prime delivery. The plastic (flimsy) and belt (thinner, and gets twisted very easily) of the harness does not feel as well-made as the other Britax car seats we’ve had through the years (8 seats). However, it’s too much trouble to ship back and we can’t afford to wait any longer. The seat is heavy and still feels sturdy when installed, compared to other boosters we’ve tried while waiting for the item to arrive.Disappointed that this expensive purchase did not meet our high expectations, compared to the company’s stellar past performance.

We love this new car seat!
This redesigned car seat is great! It was so easy to install, the seat is roomier and the buckles are easy to use. The fabric is easy to clean as well. My very large 3 year old son is really happy in his new seat!

Secure and sturdy- but hard for a child to strap himself in
This is very sturdy and as a safe car seat. Love the cup holder in it too! If you are looking for safety, this is very secure. However, it’s challenging to strap in. Even for my eight-year-old he struggles because it is bulky to get the seatbelt strapped around as a child. Also, it makes a squeaky at the headrest and a little larger than most boosters.

Squeaky headrest
I read other reviews that mentioned the squeaky headrest but I thought maybe it had been fixed or people were too picky so I ordered. Nope, th3 headrest is so squeaky and cheap. For $200 they should do better than a foam crappy headrest. So I sent it back and got a Graco which I thought might not be as good as Britax but I think I have been duped into bying Britax for the last 5 years thinking it was higher quality. The Graco seat seems soo much better and higher quality.

Constant Squeak Noise!
This is, in theory, a great car seat. However, the head restraint is just styrofoam covered with fabric. The seat makes a constant squeak noise the entire time a child is in it. Think of a styrofoam cooler with drinks in it. It is beyond annoying!!! I can’t stand to hear it in my car so returning.

Not the standard I’ve know from this brand
I love this brand and have used it for all of my kids. This seat however has many flaws. Not easy to use. Doesn’t seem to have the same quality of buckle as I’m use to with this brand. I would not buy again. I might actually return it
