Stirring IS needed
Convenient... almost. The package says "No need to stir" this natural peanut butter but as evidenced by the photo it is required on every cup.Yes I am aware separation is normal in 'natural' peanut butter even in the large jar.I only mention it due to the label on the product. Yes I realize this isn't the biggest of problems. But still a nuisance when you expect to just open and use.Stirring in the cup is difficult due to the good portion size of peanut butter, there isn't much space to stir without spilling. Thats my issue with having to stir. If its messy where's the convenience other than travel size.If you chose to pour off the oil instead of stirring it back in, you'd be left with a grainy dry paste.Tastes great just Buyer Beware.

Watch out for expiration dates!
I thought this was an awesome deal, and that these cups would be great for my kiddos to use for snacks and lunches, so I bought 3 boxes. We are partway through the first box, and I realized they expired the end of September, and I purchased them the end of June. This is ridiculous in my opinion, as there are 48 containers per box, so even if I had only ordered one box, we still couldn't have used it all before it expired! I'm disappointed that this company is selling these so close to the expiration date!

Protein
Some interns at, I think, Riverside County Hospital, were forced to survive a week on the normal welfare food stamps to gain insight into the diet issues/sensitivity. One reported that he had to cheat for his own health by running out and buying peanut butter for the protein. My area is in a lock down (Riverside County, CA) and the once stripped grocery shelves are worse. This is becoming so serious, I can't thank myself enough to recall that intern and ordered the 48 cups. I made sure to order 3 boxes of Ritz through Instacart to have with it. There's no bread out there. If the media shows "locked down streets" all peaceful here, it is because the whole county is at the grocery store panic shopping. So far, I am okay using Instacart with minor "refunds-due to no availability of items", however, I suspect up ahead I'll be using the Jiffy and Ritz.I recommend it. No way I'm lacking protein on the equal to food stamp hapless based on nothing in the stores due to panic shoppers.

Leaking packets, total oil separation and unsealed carton
Have bought this several times in the past and the product was excellent. We received our latest case recently (MAY 8 2018 A1 7 128 425 10 12:48). All packets in the first box were rock solid peanuts in the bottom as the oil had completely separated, almost impossible to mix and make usable. We got out the second box today and the packets went flying across the kitchen floor as there was no adhesive holding the packet box together. Picked them up and appears one of the packets leaked and peanut oil was all over all the packets and now all over the kitchen floor. There was peanut butter on the insides of the box, too. Kind of disgusting. Looked around and did not see any place to write the manufacturer so posting it as a review here. Not sure what "surprises" the remaining boxes will provide, but not sure we'll be purchasing this again.

We use these for three reasons
I like that there are fewer ingredients. But the main reasons for this (2nd) purchase is a) we coat my dog's pills in the peanut butter (pill pockets don't work for these particular pills) and he gobbles them up, and b) in case of an emergency or natural disaster, these peanut butter cups are a great source of protein if food is scarce. We keep the supply rotated with our dog - and our own occasional snacks, so we always have a fresh supply, and c) the 48 pack only costs $2.69 per box as opposed to $3.49 in stores. So, to quickly recap:1. Always fresh, cost-effective supply2. Great, small, easy-to-pack/carry source of protein in emergencies3. Great treat or medication disguise for dogs.Hope this helps!

Easy portions, easy use, convenient
Where have these been my whole life? I got this for my husband — he has a hard time judging portion sizes accurately, so he ends up with under-estimating his calories. This is a fool proof way to know exactly how many calories he’s consumed. But that’s not why I’m enthralled with these. They came on a day that was blazing hot. I tossed a couple in the freezer to quickly cool them down. I decided to give one to the dog as a snack after they were frozen solid. She loved it! What a great treat for her on a hot day, plus it kept my lab puppy occupied for 15 minutes. I’m keeping these in the freezer forever!

Great snack addition
Ok, so what do these taste like? I thought they may be like the peanut butter and chocolate spread called "koogle", which had sort of an odd oily taste/texture that took awhile to get used to, but was really quite good and was a bit like Nutella. Or perhaps it would taste like reeses... It tastes like none of those, but still has a good flavor. It tastes like peanut butter with just a hint of chocolate. So it is perfect to spread on many of the items you'd put peanut butter on... sandwiches, celery, graham crackers, etc. Or even alone by the spoonful.I have not had any issues with oil separation as some others have... I suspect that these issues come up with the heat and summer shipments.Overall, pretty happy with this product.

Thinner, grainer, and no "roasted" taste
As other reviewers have pointed out, there is more oil present in these tiny to-go tubs (prob necessary to get them into said tiny tubs). I tasted both Jif from a standard jar, along with Jif from the to-go tubs, side by side. While the taste was similar, the to-go product was much thinner, the mouth-feel a bit "grainy," and it does not have that nice roasted flavor Jif is known for. We will attempt to return this product.
