A great first exercise bike, works well even for 6ft 3in tall persons
I've had this exercise bike for about 7 months now, and have gotten a decent amount of use out of it during that time. I don't ride it daily or anything, I would guess maybe 2 hours per week on average, as a supplement to my regular daily walks that I take to try and stay more active. I'm 6ft 3in tall, and I can confirm that this bike does work for someone of that height comfortably. I'm not constantly bashing my knees into the handlebars or anything either (every once in a while I might lightly graze them, but that's about it.) If you're also 6'3" and concerned about whether or not this bike will work for you, it will. However, I do remember that the different versions being sold on this page had different models and height recommendations, so make sure you go with the "Upright White" one in particular if you want to be sure it will fit for 6ft 3in height. I don't usually use the collapsible features of the bike, and instead tend to leave it set up in a stationary place. If you do need to move it though, or store it away for a while, it weighs somewhere around 40lbs if memory serves, so it's not so heavy as to be impossible to work around. Do be careful though even then. I moved the bike around a lot when I first got it, intending to move it into the living room to use, and then back into the bedroom to store in a more out-of-the-way place. But it is a bit awkward to move around with something like that, and I tweaked my back a few times in a minor way from moving wrong while trying to carry and maneuver it through doorways and around furniture. So just be careful as you're moving it even though it's not super heavy. Ideally you can do what I eventually did, and find a place to keep it set up and stationary and use it as needed without having to move it around. And speaking of ideal, I would highly recommend you also get yourself a nice gel or foam bike seat cushion to put on it as well. They are not too pricey, perhaps around 15-20 dollars or so depending on the brand and model, and you'll want to double check the dimensions to make sure you get one that's a good fit, but the seat on this bike without a seat cushion felt uncomfortable, and before I had the seat cover for it, I couldn't comfortably use the bike for very long at all (then again, almost all bicycle seats are uncomfortable to me, so your experience may differ.) Adding a seat cover cushion didn't exactly make the comfort level go to 100% or anything, but it makes enough of a difference to be able to enjoy using it for an hour or so without issues. At first, i was super into using the little display that showed all the various metrics, and I usually just left it on the setting that cycles through all of them so I could watch the numbers change as I rode. But eventually the appeal wore off, and I ended up just removing the batteries and using the bike without worrying about the display, and that was fine. This is my first exercise bike I have owned, and I can say I have had a good experience with it, and continue to enjoy using it a few times a week. It has held up well, and I would get another one from this brand again in the future if it came down to it. For me the resistance settings are fine. I started with 4, but eventually settled on 5 as my ideal setting to just hop on and go without having to think about it. I tried 6 for a while and that was fine too, but some days for me it felt like a little too much resistance, where my goal was to ride for longer periods of time rather than push myself to reach higher and higher resistance limits, so 5 is where I keep it at most of the time, and I can just ride for longer periods with no trouble at all. Assembly was pretty easy too from what I remember, and the bike remains sturdy and feels like it will last for some time still. I don't have any concerns about build quality, especially not for the reasonable price for the equipment. It's also very quiet to use, so no need to worry about waking your housemates or causing a lot of ruckus in general. I think it's safe to say that I'm satisfied with my purchase, and feel like I already got plenty of value and use out of it even if it broke tomorrow. But I'm sure it will last for a long time, and I have no concerns about the overall quality. If you're also someone looking to get their first exercise bike like I was, and you're wondering if this will be a good choice, while I don't have experience with others to compare this bike with, I can recommend this one at least based on my own experiences with it. Just get a padded seat cover, and ideally find a good place to put it where you don't have to move it around too much, and you'll be set.

Fantastic home workout addition.
It's great! We've only had it two days now but it's a really convenient little bike. The assembly was fairly easy for me to manage on my own within a half hour. I'm 5'4" and my husband is 6'3". For me, the lowest seat setting is a tiny bit of a stretch but I can still use it without issue. If you're under 5'4" though this isn't the bike for you. My husband can use it perfectly with his height. There isn't a ton of resistance difference between Level 1 and Level 8, but you really do feel the burn after even just a few minutes of use if you've not conditioned the muscles used frequently in biking. My husband uses it as a warm up before soccer games, and I use it when I don't want to peel myself away from Netflix but also want to burn off that 2nd glass of wine. ;-) It's no treadmill or replacement for actual outdoor biking, but it will for sure get your muscles moving. It's easy to use without hands (just sitting up), with your hands resting on the bars, or leaning entirely on the bars to give your bum some relief - the seat is very hard. We're hoping it'll break in and get softer :) THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS BIKE? It folds up so easily and so compact to store in probably the tiniest closet in our house. It takes up about as much room as a larger upright vacuum. It's only about 40ish pounds and I have very little upper body strength, so moving it around without issue between the closet and the living room has been great. This is an excellent purchase.

Day one...will update when I've had it for longer
Edit 5/27/23: I've had it for about a month now, I ride roughly 30 mins/7ish miles 3-4 days a week. Still whisper quiet, motion has either gotten better or I've gotten used to it, a good beginner bike cuz as the giant wall of words below says, the resistance here is not going to be for intermediate/advanced bikers. One thing to note if you aren't thinking about it, although this folds and can be stored, there are no wheels, so, you're either going to have to pick it up or drag it. Original day 1 review starts here: TL;DR: Good bike for the price, can't speak on durability, whisper quiet, meh seat, I'd recommend it based on ease of assembly/first ride on the bike. I know what you're thinking, "Day one? I'm here to see if it'll last", and I totally get that, I'm just not able to give you that kind of a review yet. I will however update when I've had it for longer and have logged some more time with it, promise. Even if the $135 I spent on it wouldn't hurt my feelings too much if it broke within a year, I'd still be annoyed enough that it broke within a year that I'd have to tell someone other than my wife. So, day one reactions to this machine. The box is labeled "heavy" and "team lift" but...take that for what you will since the box says Net Wt 31.68 lbs/Gr Wt 36.96 lbs, just, trying to be informative. The instructions also say you should use "two or more people (to) assemble this machine to avoid possible injury", again, take that for what you will. I assembled this machine by myself in roughly 40 minutes, with the most time spent unpacking it and threading the left pedal since it was being a punk (there's always one piece when you're assembling something). Assembly, even if you have little to no experience in assembling things, is really about as easy as it gets since the machine only has: the body, front stabilizer, rear stabilizer, seat post, seat, pedals, strap for pedals, and handlebars/display. Attach the stabilizers (feet) to the body, seat post where it looks like the seat goes, seat on the post, handlebars where they look like they should go, and pedals where they look like they should go, easy breezy. Now, I wouldn't be posting a review if assembling it was all I did, that would be silly. Instead, I just took it for a 21 minute ride while watching an episode of "Darkwing Duck" so I could test it out. Now, this is the part of the review where I tell you a little bit about myself. I am 5'-11" (short legs) and weigh 225 lbs, I have a basement gym where I have a 6 day workout schedule which incorporates lifting, elliptical (more expensive than this bike), walking/jogging, and (kick)boxing. This is NOT my primary and/or only method of exercise, I bought this to supplement everything else since I am a remote worker and if I had a pedometer, my steps per day would be like...50. I also live in a state (NE) which has all four seasons so going outside for an afternoon walk all the time can be, annoying, like when it's 20 with 25mph winds or when it's 90 with 25 mph winds. I wanted something I could use to get some relaxed cardio in while watching TV and the wife also wanted it so, to the cart it went. Now, for the performance part. I took it on a 21 minute ride and tested all of the resistance levels with 8 being the highest but....an 8 on this bike is more like a, 3 or 4 on a pricier bike, while a 1 is like riding downhill. I chose to chill at level 5 for a bit and then finish at level 4 for the last 8 or so minutes, a very relaxed resistance level for me since I'm a bit tired from my earlier exercising. The movement felt a bit jerky at first but it loosened up as the ride went on, and the bike is whisper quiet, it didn't make any noise...at all. I tested going fast (for me, got to 20+ on its Speed rating) and the bike still didn't make any noise, so, that's pretty sweet. Note to the reader here: our house is half tile/half carpet and I had the bike on the stone tile, not good old slippery linoleum tile (more prevalent in TX and other Southern states...so if you plan to put this on linoleum tile then take my review for what you will). This bike also has no power cord and the display is powered by two AAA batteries (included). The display can tell you Speed, Distance, Time, and "Calories" (in quotes cuz, c'mon, that thing's not accurate, this machine doesn't know anything about you/your body composition so take this number with a truckload of salt). There is also a display setting called ODO which is your Odometer, which means it should track all of your workout miles logged until it gets to 9999, then it resets (based on the instructions). If you are first starting your fitness journey then I suppose this is a good way to set milestones for yourself and if you are first starting your fitness journey with this bike, I wish you the best of luck on your journey. The other option on the display is Scan, in which it will just go through all of the settings, just for fun. You can also choose to use the bike without the batteries since the resistance settings are manual, no problem. Now, did this product with its 6,755 ratings really need my review? Absolutely not, but, just in case you're sorting reviews by "Newest" then, hello. I do that too so, yeah, don't worry, I got you. Random note: the instructions and several reviewers say the nuts/bolts are already supposed to be in the machine but, yeah, mine were not, they were separate except the screws used to attach the seat. SPEAKING OF THE SEAT...this is where the 5 star became a 4. This seat, remember I was only on it for 21 minutes, is..........exactly what you'd expect from a budget bike. I can't criticize it TOO much (it's a budget priced bike) but I will more than likely be spending a little bit extra to get a seat cushion which would raise it up to about a $160 bike, so, food for thought.

Good no-frills stationary bike!!
I purchased this Marcy Foldable Upright Exercise Bike about 5 weeks ago. This Prime item arrived in two days. If you have any experience with wrenches or allen keys (provided), the assembly was pretty easy maybe 20 minutes (with a few looks at the directions diagram). There's four screws for the handlebars, three for the seat, and four total for the legs. So first off, I'm 5ft 6in and I need to use the lowest seat post setting (I added a gel seat-cover which raises the seat a little bit). I am well below the 250lb max weight, so I can't comment on that. Even with the additional gel seat cover, my rear was sore for about the first week, but all is well now. This is my first exercise bike, and I am very happy with it so far. This no-frills bike does not come with any of the bells and whistles, but it fits my needs perfectly. I've used it daily for 60min minimum (in 20 or 30-minute blocks) for the last 5 weeks. It has 8 levels of resistance. I started on level 2 (very easy) for a day or two, then moved up to 3 for maybe a week, then level 4 for about a week. I have used level 5 exclusively for the past couple weeks and am very content at that level. It is very quiet and smooth to operate. I use it while watching my regular TV shows!! The display takes 2 AAA batteries (not included) and shows miles per hour, calories burned, miles this session and total miles used. I'm not sure how accurate these different functions are, I usually rely mostly on the timer. I use the optional pedal straps which are adjustable. I leave it in the usable position and have rarely folded it up. It's easy to fold, just pull the pin. Again, this in the no-frills model, the time and distance cannot be programmed, the display is not lighted, the handle bars are not adjustable, and the resistance control is a manual knob that you turn by hand. All that being said, for the price, this bike is the perfect entry level stationary bike. Before I made the purchase, I read many of the reviews posted here, and those reviews were overwhelmingly positive, which helped me decide to make the buy. If you're anything like me, you will be very happy with this exercise bike.

Perfect for me and Hopefully for you too!
I'm 5'9", 169 lbs and have a cranky left knee. At PT, I noticed they put me on an exercise bike first thing every time. I also noticed that pro tennis players do 10 minutes on a stationary bike after playing. So I started using my one at home for both. Trouble is I often play at places 50 minutes from home with no gym at all, so I have to wait till I get home to cycle which is not ideal. Having this bike means I can cycle directly after every match and when I travel somewhere by car! How cool! I am surprised and impressed how great this thing is. It was well packaged and easy to assemble. All the important parts seem pretty sturdy and yet the weight is low enough that is an easy lift. I used it for 10 minutes and found that after getting used to it, i got lost in the rhythm of it like I do on more expensive ones. A few notes though. I have the tension cranked up to 7 of 8. That feels good for cruising to me. If I wanted a real workout there isn't much more tension to get. I would have to get it from speed. It wouldn't be ideal if leg strenth was my goal. Plus, I am 5' 9" and have the seat up all the way. If you are taller it might not be big enough for you. Still those are not my worries. For what I want this is a 5 out of 5. If it does not last 5 or more years I will be disappointed and return here to let you know.

I’m 69 yrs old and I Love It!!
Easy to put together. Takes up hardly any space. Fits in my walk in closet with room to spare! Very stable. I weigh 242, hence buying an exercise bike. Can’t beat it for the price. I did buy a gel seat cover for it.

About as good as you'd expect.
You get what you pay for. The bike is fine, but I have a handful of issues with it. - The tension settings aren't very good, like it goes from 1-8 but you'll probably be using 6 bare minimum and 8 is probably the only setting that makes it a bit difficult to pedal. - The seat is VERY uncomfortable, if you get this I recommend finding an extra bike cushion to put over it. - It's a little noisy, not much of an issue if you have earbuds in or something, but it'll probably squeak if you sit in center and go back and forth slightly when pedaling. - While it is convenient to fold and put in the corner when not using, and it's pretty easy to drag and unfold and start biking, I find it kind of annoying to put the pin in after folding the bike. I found out that this is because there's a cable inside that can get in the way of where you put the pin through to lock it in place. You may have to look in the hole so you can push the pin sideways to get the cable out of the way. But it's alright for what it is. Maybe wait for a sale.

Overall Perfect. No Kidding.
THE BEST! Once assembled (tip: the rear bottom crossbar has dimples where the upward screw fat end should start from the bottom. The dimpled side goes on the bottom, not the top when you assemble.) I LOVE THIS STATIONARY BIKE! I had ordered an additional seat cover and haven't even tried the seat cover because it's not needed. I use this in my bathroom for a one-hour workout and don't need to wear any clothing. The seat it comes with quite comfortable. True to other comments, this bike is whisper quiet. The speed adjustments are subtle, but truly functional in the actual feel and resistance. The readout is logical. The pedal and seat height adjustments are expertly designed. I've paid thousands in gym memberships over decades and this stationary bike is better than those in the best spas. Good grief, this is such a good investment. You work up a good sweat in 30 minutes. I stick at it longer because it's comfortable and I get a good pulmonary workout too. This is easy to assemble. It takes a little time. The directions are very good. It fits in my bathroom against the wall underneath the towel rack. I don't have to fold it up between uses. I'm not paid to say this. I'm simply very happy with this product.

Good value
Took me 5-10 minutes to put together on my own. It's a good, basic bike. Don't expect a super high resistance, but it is decent. It's perfect to get a bit of extra movement in throughout the day, especially with stay at home orders. I love to get on it for a few minutes intermittently throughout the day so I'm not just sitting at a desk all day long. I do additional exercise daily as well (strength training and circuits) so it's not my main source of movement, but this is the perfect little bike to increase your movement and get your blood pumping. I'm 5'9 and I place the seat midway to its full height. It's a solid and stable bike, suuuper silent. I live in an apartment building and I haven't had any issues with it making noise. If you don't buck around, you won't either! I'm so pleased with this purchase. I think the price is perfect for what it is. I was planning on folding it away at night because my apartment is tiny, but I use it so often that I don't even bother putting it away! It doesn't take much room at all, even fully open. Also, I padded the seat with a folded sweater at first, but my bum became accustomed to it after just two days. After that I just sat directly on the seat and I find it super comfortable now! I think there's a little adjustment period, as with many things. I hope you enjoy your bike as much as I do mine!

Easy to use
Great value for indoor fitness. Easy to assemble and to store due to it folding up.

Meets my expectations
I've had this bike for 9 months now and it still works as expected so I'm still satisfied with my purchase. Would I have been happier with a proper spin bike? Probably. BUT, I bought this bike because I knew I wouldn't have any room in my tiny space to keep a full-sized spin bike. So every time I wish I could stand up and peddle but can't, I remind myself why I have THIS bike. The fact that it can fold up is the prime selling point. It definitely doesn't have the same resistance as a spin bike or probably even a regular stationary bike but I think it's still pretty decent at its highest levels (7 or 8) to give you a workout. I sweat when I'm on this thing. I use it anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour a few times a week to add some variety to my home workouts. The magnetic resistance is great because it's virtually silent. Occasionally, I've experienced the clicking noise that some other reviews have mentioned but it seems to be sporadic and doesn't happen all the time or only when I've been cycling fast and for a long time. I usually have ear buds in though so maybe it happens more often but I don't hear it over the music so it hasn't bothered me and hasn't caused any noticeable problems in pedalling. The seat is a bit hard as some reviews have said and I considered buying a cushioned seat cover at one point because it seemed to be causing some nerve compression down one of my legs but that went away eventually and I think I just got used to the seat over time or maybe I just figured out how to reposition myself so that it didn't bother me anymore. I personally have no issues with the height of the seat and I can cycle comfortably on it. The best thing about this bike is how easy it is to fold and unfold in literally seconds with the pin. It really takes up a very small footprint once folded up. I also like that it's made of a pretty solid sturdy metal so you feel pretty secure on it. However, the pedals are plastic and even if the bike feels sturdy, I wouldn't stand up on it because the weight might break the pedals or there's a risk of tipping over the front since it's not balanced the same way a normal bike is. The worst thing about this model would be the lack of transport wheels. This bike was a bit less expensive that the model with the wheels so I decided to save a bit of money since I didn't think I would be moving it much and I don't. I keep it in the same spot precisely to avoid having to move it. It's not impossible to move since it's only about 40 lbs but it's still a bit of a pain on the rare occasion when I do want to manoeuvre it and that's when I wish it came with the little wheels in the front so I could tip it and drag it. My hack is to place the front "feet" on a towel so that if I ever do want to move it to clean the floor, I can just drag it on the towel without damaging the floor. Putting the bike together was fairly easy. I just followed the diagrams and made sure to be organized and figure out where all the parts go. I've been using the bike regularly for 9 months and haven't had to change the batteries yet for the display. The display is OK but I'm really not confident about how accurate it is for things like calories. It seems to calculate the same number of calories per time spent exercising whether I go fast or slow at the different resistance levels. Also, one shortcoming about this model is that there's no heart rate monitor. It would be nice if there was a heart rate measurement to really know how hard you're working out. For what it is, this bike meets my expectations and is good enough for me. Not too expensive and does the job.
