Leksands Crispbread Triangl Swedish

Growing up in a Norwegian American household, this "knekkebrod", or crunchy bread, was a staple of our diet. The Swedish Leksands remain very, very crisp when left in the paper, and are great with smoked salmon slices, sliced egg and sweet/salty herring, brown cheese, and my favorite, smoked salmon spread. I'm trying to stay low on carbs these days and would rather not eat so much bread. I find a couple of these Leksands paired with something tasty really satisfies my craving for an evening snack without falling off of a proper diet. A bit pricey when bought online, but for me, worth it.

This is one of the best Swedish Rye Crispbread on the market. I use them backpacking, but I do have to pack them carefully, so they don't crumble, but it's worth the effort.

I've never tasted these Rye Crispbread before. Liked them very much without any toppings. They are moderately salty. I would not serve them with cheese or salty toppings, would be too salty for me. But as snack with a hint of unsalted butter they taste delicious.

Leksand's Crispbread is my favorite, grew up eating this in Sweden and it's still the best. But why packaged so poorly? This is crispy bread, it breaks VERY easily. I've bought this many times before and the packaging is never good but this time is the worst! That's why I'm writing this review! I don't want to send back, will still eat and enjoy it, even the broken pieces. I get lipstick and non-breakable items with far more cushion in the box than this. I will continue purchasing but please prepare package so my favorite crispbread arrives intact next time.

Good lord I love these crackers!I was reluctant to order because amazon free delivery is very hard on crackers or chips. My order was received with no broken crackers. They were also extremely fresh! I’ve never seen these triangular “wedge packs” before. I love the size of these and will buy them again.Overall the price might be a little high but these type rye crackers are hard to find locally so I won’t complain to much. I just bought more so obviously my “complaint” is minor.

I eat rye crisp every morning for a Scandinavian breakfast.

Although the expiry date was a month away, this product was stale and inedible.

I use this product in place of bread. It works well for an open face sandwich. Also, spread butter on a wedge and top with cinnamon and sugar for a breakfast treat. At Christmas this works perfectly with Bond Ost cheese and pickled herring.
