Do these leave behind a lot of fuzz or fibers behind?

No. I use them for painting and no fuzz. When the tip gets moist they are a little soft.

Does double-pointed cosmetic q tips work well or round-headed qtips work well?

These precision cotton swabs can better perform certain parts of make-up, such as nails and eye shadow.

What is diameter at widest point? I need to clean an electronic connecter with 1/8-3/16" spacing. If swab is 1/4" wide it will not fit.

I think it would be a close call. Some of them may work , others may be too large. You could probably compress the tip with your fingers and be in 3/16” to 1/4”

Do you have make-up qtips with one end flat?

No, the ones I bought are pointed at both ends.
