Brighton Robes La Serren Womens Terry Cotton Zipper Front with Hood Sleeveless Robe Dress Beach Dress

I was so excited about this robe, I thought I was going to love it because I'm in menopause and I'm always hot so I wanted something sleeveless and loose. Well it is sleeveless and I bought the extra extra large that's just right for me though I normally wear a medium to large. The problem is that the terry cloth is super super cheap. It does not feel soft or plush. Its itchy and It feels thin, coarse and cheap. It also started looking pilly and snaggy after the very first wash. darn it, I was really hoping to have a super comfortable robe to get through menopause in LOL oh, this is not it.

I got Medium, violet.As some mentioned, it is not a soft thick terry, but stiff (haven’t washed yet, probably will soften with wash)I was concerned about too tight, I like things loose, so I choose M.I am 5ft 6in, 34 x 24 x 34. It fits great, a bit too loose, but I don’t mind. I think a S or XS even would have fit great, but I was also concerned about washing in hot water and dryer since it is supposedly 100% cotton, so it will shrink.I am pleased. A bit pricey, but it has all the bells and whistles I wanted, a hood with drawstrings, a zip all the way, long, pockets...cotton, and terry. All these things are extremely difficult to find together.

I had to return robe. I usually wear a medium but ordered a large because I like my robe to be loose but the large was tight. Nice color and quality.

Love the material. It was a little too long for me. I had it shortened. Good sturdy zipper. I bought a large.

The robe is ok for the money but I wonder how long the zipper will last. It's a little longer than I wanted.
