This product didnt actually work for my mare, however, its probably because she has some more handgun issues going on? Scoping coming up :(. The customer service though was great. Thats why I still gave them 5 stars. Its sometimes hard to find that. They were very willing to chat with me about ulcer issues and stood by their guarantee. Thanks

For anyone dealing with equine ulcers, you know how frustrating it is and about feeling defeated. I’ve tried every supplement/diet/lifestyle and still have to treat my horse every 1/1.5 years. I hate treating with all the negatives of ulcer medicine. I love that this supplement, unlike most, has NO buffers. After speaking with a rep (great customer service) I knew they had the same beliefs I had for ulcer care and their goal is to actually heal the ulcers. So I gave it a shot. It’s strong smelling so I wasn’t sure on palatability but my guy has been licking his bowl clean and putting on weight. He just had what would have been a stressful move, and he’s still eating great and very calm. I really think this gave him the support he needed. I ordered a second bag and will finish that and see how he does. No matter what, I will be putting him back on it in the spring when he tends to have a flair up and hoping it does the same great job again. So far so good! (Knock on wood because they are horses after all haha )

I was skeptical that it would help my geldings ulcer. I was unable to treat him with Omeprazole paste every day. He is very difficult to use oral syringe on and I live 45 minutes away. So I chose to try this powder in his feed for a month. He ate it. It lasted the full 30 days and he is so much less grumpy and finally running and bucking in pasture again. I would recommend to anyone whose horses are hard to give oral syringe treatments. Less expensive than the omeprazole too.

I’m not sure this supplement did anything to help my horse. I followed the instructions carefully and I didn’t see any significant change in her. I wanted to like it, but for the cost, the value just wasn’t there for us. I won’t be buying this again.

I quickly saw improvements in my horse after feeding this supplement. My mare was less cranky and more willing to go forward in work. I feed it separately from her other supplements. She has morning supplements and I feed this in the evening with dampened alfalfa pellets. She eats it with no problem.

If you suspect ulcers, contact your vet. This product has great marketing. It did nothing after more than 2 weeks. I don’t expect it to change. If it does, I will update this message. Save your money. Can’t say you weren’t warned…

I have an OTTB that acts sensitive when brushed near the flank area. He hasn’t been scoped for ulcers but had other symptoms also. I bought this and began feeding per directions and he seems to be doing better after only a week. I will update when course is finished.

I’ve tried other ulcer treatments, this is the only one that is working for my mare.
