They're well made, fit great, and you don't scratch up things you use the plier wrenches on, they're great.

These fit well and help ensure you do not mark chrome or stainless fittings but are expensive given the material used.

Great idea and really handy but, there seems to be a flaw. I installed a pair and used them a couple of times and left them on the pliers wrench in my tool roll. A couple of weeks later I went to use them again and the soft jaws fell off. Whilst they fitted quite well initially, it seem that the plastic used has a "memory" and stays the shape it has been in whilst on the pliers wrench instead of remaining springy and gripping the jaws. Shame really as I like the idea and unusually for a Knipex product it doesn't quite hack it.

This was disappointing. The plastic is stiff and slippy, and the moulding doesn’t really fit the jaws of the pliers properly. So when you try to grip, the plastic jaws are inclined to come off the pliers. Plus they don’t improve the grip on the thing you’re trying to grip.Really these should be more flexible and more like rubber so that they improve the grip.

Useful but crazy overpriced. May not fit all ... 250 size plier wrench. Check yours before buying. Don't use it daily or weekly, but it's useful in maintaining beautiful machines or equipment.
