The mid-1970s comic book adventures of The Phantom return in full, glorious color! Hermes Press is collecting all 74 issues of The Phantom comic books that ran from 1962-1977. The Charlton comic book version of the grand-daddy of costumed heroes, The Ghost Who Walks, is available again, digitally remastered to look better than the original books. This volume presents the last efforts of stalwart Pat Boyette, with artwork by Mario Pedrazzi, Sante D’Amico, and Frank Bolle. Also featured is an exhaustive essay on the artists who created these books and other special features. Review: Super comics. - The illustrations were great. The stories were super. Very enjoyable stories. Even Diana got involved. His is very good reading. Review: He's The Phantom Not A Real Ghost - One of the earlier heros and it's great to see the stories reprinted in color and chronologically for a new audience. Hopefully a lot more people will be able to pick this up. They call him the ghost who walks- but he's just a guy in a mask- like every episode of Scooby doo. enjoy

Great stories from the Charlton years of the Phantom. It woul of gotten 5 stars but the original work from which it was printed leaves something to be desired.

Youth of phantom comics!!!!
A must have for all phantom fans. Charlton comics was not known for a high quality but hermes press have done a great job of reproducing the Charlton years in an elegant frame. Though I don't like glossy finished pages, I cannot put a finger wrong with the high quality work, hermes press has done. Could have been priced a little more pocket friendly.
