Everest Curved End Rubber Watchband w/Buckle for Rolex Sports Models

Just to give a little background, I was looking for an alternative band for a Rolex Explorer II 16570 black dial, but did not want to shell out $ 230 ( I am sure I am not alone...lol), on my quest for the best solution , I have tried the best zulu strap I could get for about $ 30,the color navy blue was great for this particular watch ,but of course zulu straps are a little thicker than natos ,so I had to remove the spring bars to install it cause it would not fit between the spring bars as is...natos probably would fit between spring bars w/out removal however I did not want the extra metal ring of the nato so close to the watch lugs ( trying to protect my investment! ), also in both cases zulu/nato the ugly sides of the watch are exposed which is not up to my standards, at least not on a luxury type watch....After that I have tried an Everest leather strap, which I thought would look great on my watch, black leather with fine red stitching on the sides, since my watch is black with a red arrow ,I thought this would be perfect at last!Wrong again, even though the fit was great, it did not look right either and I could not tell you why ?? ( my initial thoughts were if I am going to spend that kind of money, I would rather buy leather than rubber....).Last attempt was a look alike Everest band on Ebay for $ 30, the fit was ok, but the look and feel were not there...After a lot of time invested and returns... I have ordered this one the Everest EH5 in black, and yes this time it is RIGHT! THE FIT, COMFORT, LOOK ,I AM HAPPY WITH ALL OF IT !! EXCEPT FOR THE PRICE ( but I guess if I was that frugal , I should not bought a Rolex at the first place....).This saga reminded me of a saying : " BUY QUALITY, CRY ONCE! BUY CHEAP, CRY ALL THE TIME !! " ,so damn true.I had to shell out the $ 230 for it , I have cried once.... and now I can enjoy my watch at last , and for rubber it does not look cheap. Hopefully it will last ( it looks like it will , but as usual only time will tell!)Trust me on this one , do not waste your time like I did, trying to save a buck, you bought a Rolex, spend the extra $ 230, you'll save a lot of time and aggravation! I wish I had started with this one...Sorry for the long review, but hopefully this would help somebody in the same situation I was.

Well, I did!! And I’d do it again and again!! This strap is as good, if not better, than they claim. It’s a perfect fit. Perfect. The rubber is top notch. I mean tippy top. It’s form fitting and comfortable and tough and rugged and casual and sexy and appealing and SOLID. It’s super well built, the buckle is great. The rubber is great. I am truly impressed. Well done Everest.

It blends in perfectly at the bezel of my Sea Dweller.My original flip-lock bracelet needed rebuilt, well-worn after 15 years of daily wear.I bought a black Everest and might actually leave it on until/if it fails.It fits the watch so well and the black looks perfectly natural against the black face & bezel of the watch.But I do have high expectations given the price of this band... we'll see!

Comfortable, soft rubber that fits the curves of the Rolex with laser accuracy. After buying other cheaper bands at $10, $20, and $50 price points, they just didn't cut it. Take a lesson from me and just go for the Everest.

Bought one for my Explorer and it did not fit properly. In the second jewelry store that I visited to see if they could install it ,I became aware that my Explorer's case was not 39mm . Given that it is a 2006 model , the case is 36mm.Other than the size , the watches are virtually identical but the strap is for the 39mm case as advertised.I never imagined that there could be size variations in the Explorer.Given that Everest sell straps just for Rolexes I would expect them to be aware of size variations within a given model and inform potential clients.

Very comfortable strap. The most important thing is that the holes are close enough together to get just the right fit, unlike one of its competitors, the Rubber B.

Put this on a SUB 116610. Fit perfectly. Very high quality band. Arrived in nice package that can be used to store the band when I have the Oyster band back on the watch. Very happy with this purchase.
