Quik ShadePro Comfort High Back Shade, Tan/Black Chair

This is an odd review in that I'm really happy with both the product and service, although I returned the chair. The quality was great and the design worked well. The chair was comfortable and the shade seemed to work well (we only tested indoors). However, it does lean back a bit and it's fairly low so it's basically a cross between a standard lawn chair and a beach chair. If you're shorter this might work well for you, or if you find true beach chairs a bit too low. Ultimately, my wife didn't care for how much it leaned back so we returned the chair. Their return service was excellent as well.

Update 7/5/2021We don't go to the beach a lot, so it doesn't get used often. Used it recently for a beach trip and still in great shape and works well.Update! 7/24/2019Took this to the beach for a week. At first I thought we wouldn't be able to fit it in the car because it is longer than a regular camp chair. It fit! I have a Ford Escape (SUV) and it fit straight across the back luggage area. It was heavy to carry, but not unmanageable - just something to consider if you have difficulty carrying heavy things. Easy to set up and take down. Fit well in the carrying bag (which I was able to fit over the chair back, but tight fit) takes a little coordination not to get the parts hung up in the string. The sun shade worked great keeping my face protected.Original Review:I was so happy to find this chair at a reasonable price! Beach chairs have gotten really expensive, and I really wanted one with a sun shade. This chair is really heavy, but folds up similarly to a standard camp chair, just longer. The label says good for up to 225 lbs. The shade folds behind the chair when you don't want to use it. It sits lower than a traditional camp chair, which I wanted, but does not have any adjustable reclining positions. Doesn't have a place to store the carrying bag.When this arrived I set it up to check for defects, check comfort/quality, test sun shade, and practice folding/unfolding. I noticed the canopy/sun shade had a few small holes and tears. Also, the shade was not assembled in the way it was designed - the fabric has little sleeves the poles are meant to slide into, but the poles were glued beside these sleeves rather than inserted. I'm not sure how this will impact the durability.Overall happy with the purchase. Considered returning it for an undamaged sun shade, but we're going on a trip before a new one would arrive, so I'll live with it's flaws and hope it's durable. This chair is great! I wish it has a cup holder on the side but other than that I would recommend

This is a very useful chair. While other umbrellas are flying all over the place, this shade is attached to the chair

Love it , it’s much more comfortable than the usual foldable chairs, the seating is wider as well.

Very heavy and hard to fold

When the top was snapped into place, I couldn't see because it came over my eyes. If I wanted to see the sea, I would have had to leave it unfastened and the wind would have put paid to the top so I sent it back It was good quality but I rather look at the beach than the top of my chair
