Do you sell the Shammies only??
I lost one of the pillow shams and the bed does not look as good with one pillow. I have no idea what happened to it. I want to buy another set of shammies. Is that possible?

An Old-School, Traditional Comforter
When I think "comforter", I automatically think of the nylon and down comforter that has traditionally been on the bed. This is something very different, so be sure that is what you want.=== The Good Stuff ===* If you are willing to spend the time, it can be made to look "elegant", perfect for a seldom-used guest room. That is where this ended up in our house. The textured fabric certainly looks inviting, especially if you take the time to get the wrinkles and creases out of it. Likewise, the shams add to the effect.* If you live in a drafty house, somewhere around the arctic circle, this is not going to be your comforter. I found it about middle-range when it comes to insulation. I live in an area that commonly has cooler summer nights (60-70F), and this is about the weight I prefer to sleep with the windows open.* I found the weight to be slightly heavier than I expected. It is definitely heavier than a summer-weight down comforter, but nothing like a quilted blanket. I actually prefer a slightly heavier weight, so this was about perfect.=== The Not-So-Good Stuff ===* As others have mentioned, there is a strong smell when the comforter arrives. It spend an hour in the dryer, and a day or two outside before the smell finally went away.* While it is not uncomfortable to have next to your skin, neither is the fabric something that feels especially pleasant. It has a sort of roughness to it.* Since I use this comforter in the guest room, wear is not going to be a big deal, But the fabric does not strike me as something that will hold up to too many laundry cycles without linting or forming pills It has never been washed, so it still looks fine, but just a concern.=== Summary ===I am not sure I would want to use this as my everyday comforter, but I will admit to being a little picky. It is not the most comforting fabric, and it can be a bit heavy and "stuffy"- it doesn't breathe very much. On the other hand, once the new-blanket smell went away, it was perfectly serviceable. With a little fussing, it looks great in a guest room.

Bright, Airy, Lightweight, Minimalistic, & Overall Beautiful Set!
I absolutely love this set, it freshens up my bedroom and the comforter is lite but still keeps me warm at night. It does leave white lint all over my pajamas, hopefully that will go away after washing.

Cotton comfort
I actually hate the word chenille as it reminds me of those chunky polyester sweaters that have velvet caterpillar-like yarn. In the traditional sense though, chenille can be made of natural fibers like cotton or wool. I thought I was ordering just a duvet cover as I really don't have room to spare for another fat comforter. My intention was to rotate it with my current white cotton paisley duvet cover. After ordering I reread the description and committed to accepting this into my family, despite its fatness.I'm so glad we have this. My teen son has been sick for a week and had a couple days off school, and not able to sleep. Last night he was on the couch watching a dumb b-grade disaster movie with me (one of our favorite things to do together), and he looked cold. I pulled this cotton comforter out of its package and fluffed it a bit and covered him. Within 5 minutes he was snoring. It was the first full night's sleep he's had for a week, and on the couch at that. The cotton cover is cozy and breathable. Unlike synthetic materials this can keep you warm without overheating. The polyester fill has a light, even loft. Tag reads that this is machine washable too which makes for easy care, especially with a sick kid in the house.I love the geometric design as it has a bit of a deco or European feel. It's borderline ugly like a bathmat and has a shabby chic thing going on. Kind of bohemian yet has a relaxed spa-like elegance that will complement a decor with lots of natural wood, textiles, and light. The weave of the main fabric is textured. Seeing as my son snuggled right down into it with a good night's sleep I have a soft spot for it already. Once cleaned, I will reserve this for guests, or pull it out again when my babies are sick and need a cotton hug to put them to sleep.Five hearts for this one.
